so i thought i would start a listing of bridal salons that are in ct this list is all the places i called to find out if they had my sizes in samples to try on in plus.

 i will list the salon what sizes they have and designers as well as locations feel free to add to this list 

Bridal bells- berlin sizes 0-30 specializes in plus and has tons of gowns in sizes 20-30 to try on, venus mori lee, juletta by mori lee, jasmine and a few others

Stylish impressions farmington sizes 0-28 also specializing in plus also with lots of gowns to try on, allure, casablanca maggie soltero enzoani, plus many more 

Mariellas creations Rocky Hill, sizes 0-16 some 18s only 2 dresses over a size 20 to try on.. allure, lazaro, demetrios, eve of milady, to name a few

beautiful bride plainville they carry sample sizes only 8s 10s, 12,s 14s no plus cassablanca is their bridal line

bridestobe glastonbury 0-30 consignment gowns 30% of the stock is true consignment the rest is sample gowns from designers and salons morilee vera wang and more

bliss bridals cheshier, sizes up to 26 la sposa, allure, justin alexander are a few designers she carrys

harolds formal wear new haven regular and plus sizes avalible to try on  San Patrick,Demetrios,Sophia Tolli,Casablanca mori lee and more 

eldivaz bridal- hartford up to -24 some plus sizes but not a huge selection jordan, private lable by g maggie solttero, eldivaz selection 

fairy tails formal wear regular sample sizes only one plus size sample in a 26, davinci bridal, cassablanca, jasmine, impressions bridal to name a few

juliee allen bridal newtown sizes 6-22 with a large selection of plus   Maggie Sottero Midgley Marisa Jasmine Alfred Angelo

ocassions bridal bethel all sizes including plus with many plus sizes to try on mori lee maggie sottero, ocasions exclusive

Stars Avon sample sizes as of now but they have 2 dozen plus size gowns coming at the end of the summer, cassablanca angelina faccenda, mori lee,sottero and midgley impressions some bonny

Have you been to all these shops? I'm going to bridal bliss Saturday then trying to figure out where else to go definitely want to feel comfortable as I already have anxiety about trying dresses on

the only shops i have been to was bridal bells brides to bee and going to stylish impressions tomorrow. the rest of the salons i have listed are places that had designers i liked or were close by that i called before hand to see if i could even try on gowns.. 

are u plus or regular size jamie? bridal bells in berlin the women is amazing i came in we went to the wall of dresses ( she has a really small shop) she showed me everything that i could try on that would look good on me. i tried on over 13 dresses and found one i loved loved loved but i am indicisive and wanted to check out at least one other place before i made my desicion she has samples in regular sizes and stuff up to 30 she does not pressure you at all and she was even able to show me how the dress would look ( it was a one shoulder) with another strap and some lace added to the back to make it more covered

i heard good things about bliss  bridal bells is amazing and a few of my friends got dresses at stylish impressions so i am looking at there designers... i had anxiety like you did my fear was nothing would fit me but i did my research looked up designers i liked found out where in ct they were located and spent time on the phone calling places to see if they had my sizes to try on.. one place i called only had one dress i could try on and wanted me to make an apointment ( no not wasting my gas for 1 gown) 

a good bridal salon will know what works well for your body type and only put u in dresses that they can get u into. a bad place will shove u into dress that wont fit ( went to a place like that) and was shocked because everything was samples off the rack in my bridal size and they were not fitting right
