Hey all,
My name is Meghan and my fiance and I just got engaged a few weeks ago. We just started looking into wedding venues and are extremely interested in the Senate Chamber at the Capitol for the ceremony. That said, after quite a bit of research, we're wondering how long the process will be to reserve the chamber and parlor. It looks like we need approval from a Senator (but not sure if that's just group events or what) among some other things. We are in contact with the Sergeant at Arms, but I was wondering if anyone could share their experience(s) working with the venue/contact people--good, bad, indifferent.
