Sunday Wedding - Catholic Ceremony

Hi everyone-

I am in the midst of planning my wedding for December 2014. My fiance is in the military and his schedule drove our wedding date to a Sunday. Does any one know of a Catholic Church in the Detroit area that will marry on a Sunday? My home church will not accomodate our schedule and I am beginning to get a bit discouraged.

I'm not aware of any Catholic churches that perform weddings on Sunday either. You might want to look into getting married at one of the approved Chapels. http://www.aod.org/being-catholic/marriage-and-family/marriage-preparation/marriage-chapels/

I'm pretty sure ours does

Our Lady of Good Council in Plymouth. We are having our ceremony on a Sunday there. Mind you ours is technically a convalidation-- but its worth a shot!
