I really liked Donna and I confess that I cried at Journey's End.  It was, IMO, the saddest departure of a companion ever.

She was an interesting companion and I think that they really did need each other...they both grew, and for her to not remember an of it is just so damn sad.

Agreed. It's even sadder than the end of season two when Rose leaves.

The saddest for me was when Amy and Rory left in the Angels Take Manhattan. I seriously think I cried for like 20 minutes after that episode ended.
