Hey, So I'm newly engaged! and I am trying to plan my San Diego Wedding (where my fiance's and my family's live) from across the continent in New York where I'm a grad student. That being said, I will be home around Christmas with limited time to look at venues, so I was hoping for some help!
We are having a day time wedding and the theme is garden party/English tea (fiance is British) and I really want to serve a proper afternoon tea for our friends and family. I can't seem to find too many places with a suitable garden feel for an outdoor wedding and a caterer who could pull off a proper English Tea. We are looking to get married spring/summer 2014 (no date because no venue yet). We don't have a large budget-under $10,000. Has anyone else tried this? Anyone have any suggestions??
