Ordering kippot?

Is there a generic rule of thumb for how many kippot to order? (We are having a wedding not at a shul, but we still want to have kippot for the men to wear.) Should we order one for every male guest who RSVPs "yes"? One for every guest? 

For those of you who are already married, how did the numbers end up? Thanks

I like the idea of ordering one per male guest but you can forget about that idea all together.  People will take extras as a souvenir.  Figure the number of male guests then order half again as much.

I think we probably did one per guest, but we had a lot leftover.  I always take one even though I don't wear it during the service for my collection at home

1.5 times the number of male guests is probably a safe bet.
