We're looking for a unique place to hold our ceremony. It will be a religious ceremony, but not in a church. We're looking at the Joslyn Art Museum, but it will more than likely be out of our budget. Any other unique ideas??
Check out the Doubletree Suites on 72nd Street. I attended a wedding there not too long ago and it was beautiful. It has an open atrium and the couple was married in the center. It can hold quite a few people. You can have your reception their as well.
We just booked our ceremony at the Durham Western Heritage Museum--- absolutely stunning! Our wedding is on a Friday night, which makes the cost a little less but is definitely less expensive than the Joslyn (we checked into that as well, but WAY too expensive for us!) Check it out--- Lori Beck is in charge of guest services/events and is very helpful!
