Just got back from shopping. Got one bridal shower booked yay!!! I'm a big control freak and one of the girls planning it puts EVERYTHING off and then the co-host my sister told me to tell her what to do lol. We went to Party City to look for stuff and I wish she would've bought the invites we found and liked. I feel like I'm just gonna have to keep on top of her. Anyways, I got a couple manicure sets for BM gifts and a gorgeous new Coach purse I've had my eye on for a while now

I was all ready to make dinner and watch a movie with FI when his friend texted and asked if he wanted to go down to the pub. So it's dinner for 1 and Netflix for me tonight.

My FI has been working ALL day - literally. He started at about 7:30 am painting, then left there and went to plow at 1pm. Didn't get home until 7:30pm only to shower and go pump gas until 10pm.

He doesn't even get to sleep in tomorrow because he'll be pumping gas from 7am-12pm, then from 5pm-10pm tomorrow. After church, I plan on making a nice lunch for us. I think he deserves it.

KrisKenny-what kind of escort cards are you doing? I just got a packet from my venue and some of the restrictions are REDONK. They require place cards with the full name of the person, table number, and the entree choice written out in large letters-no symbols, no color coding.

This is what they are going to look like (except a different shade of purple).
There were no restrictions for us. And, we are only doing one meal option so it kind of doesn't matter to the venue who sits where.

I bought a nice calligraphy pen and I'm also going to hand-write all of the invitations. I will be starting that project within the next few weeks so I won't be doing it right before they need to go out.

So I have come to the conclusion my apartment is going to stay a mess until the wedding. There is no where to put things. Invitations, DIY projects, ugh....

Sad to say, I haven't watched the whole thing yet. I've seen 1 and 2 and liked them, just haven't gotten around to watching all of 3. And, I just shut it off so he would close his eyes.

I'm lucky because my livingroom is really big. I have a long picture table, and it's covered with DIY stuff instead of pictures. I also have a rubbermaid container full of other WR stuff.
