I am trying to think of how to word the invites to the wedding....My FI's parents arent together and havent been for years... I usually see both set of parents Mr & Mrs is requesting your presence in honor of ....etc but can you still do so if they arent together? they both still carry the same last name
Re: not sure how to word this....
Ms. Groom Mom Last
Mr. Groom Dad Last
request the pleasure of your company
blah, blah, blah. . .
They go on separate lines and are not joined with AND. To do otherwise would indicate that they are married.
Dresses may be easier to take in than let out, but guest lists are not. -- kate51485

[QUOTE]You don't HAVE to put their names on the invitation. Google "wedding invitation wording" and you'll get lots of examples. Some people will put "Together with their families/parents" or some other wording.
