Sarah - my manager spoke with me to let me know how the things I said were expressed, they never said specifically what I told them or who said it. Apparently she wanted to know but they wouldn't tell so she dropped it. Apparently the owner and manager both think that proved her guilt because she didn't put up any fight to prove her innocence. She's on thin ice, for sure.

I officially decided I am going to look for another teaching job for next year. I'll stay here if I don't find anything, but I really miss having a big French classroom that isn't completely interrupted when one person is sick.

Well, this seems as good a thread as any to jump back in! Hello all! Been a while. I had a scarey experience where a vendor recognized me from a comment I made about her service, and she called me on the phone. Freaked me out! So I went back to lurking for awhile. Made me see how easy it was to figure out who I was, but was too lazy to make another account.

So since I've been here I've gotten married, and finished my MBA - just need to turn in some paperwork and I'm free! Yay!

J&K - soon you'll be free too!

AATB - we do the same thing on DH mom's extended side! Makes things so much easier - life is hectic enough around the holidays!

Ash - my divorce was the hardest/best thing I've ever done for myself - hugs!

JCB - so sorry! Hopefully will all work out for the best.

The term came up here a few years ago when we had to take furlough. Some people got pissed. It was 10 days. Drama queens. 40% cut in pay? Not cool.

That bugs me. If vendors are SO AFRAID of bad reveiews, take the bad review in stride and fix whatever you were doing wrong. Or don't do something wrong to begin with? That works too.
