HELP! Invitation Wording Problem....

So, My fiance and I have made up some DIY invitations, and they basically say that "Myself and him invite you to attend our wedding...:

I sent out the desin to a few people to see what they think, and my MIL mentioned that I may want to mention that " our parents  would like to invite you to attend the wedding"...

This would be really nice, but my mom has not been around for most of my life, but i will still be inviting her to the wedding.

How would i word this to say that my fiances parents (mom and dad), and my dad "invite " everyone?

any suggestions????

Re: HELP! Invitation Wording Problem....

  • "Together with their families..." might be your best bet here.
  • I agree with Joy. "Together with their families!"
  • You can always do names if you want, but outright listing your FILs and your dad is a very public dismissal / slap in the face to your mom.  If that doesn't bother you then go for it.

    Mr. Rockstar's dad
Mr & Mrs. FI's mom and dad
request the pleasure of your company
at the marriage of their children
    Rockstar and FI

You could also do "Rockstar and FI, together with their parents" if 'parents' would make your inlaws happier than 'family'
