Haha sorry I had to email H quick. I'm annoyed that my phone wasn't sending his emails through so he has been emailing me for 3 hours and I didn't know because they didn't come through. Then he called to make sure i was okay.

YAY dnb! Oh, you are welcome. I remember telling H when I made it and he looked at me like I was crazy.

I know. I just get sad to think that it is over, but happy to be married.

Beachy - that was kind of sweet. My phone sometimes lags with e-mails. It's annoying - cause I usually send stuff to myself to get a photo I took with my phone to the computer or something and then I have to wait... and wait...

My phone occasionally decides to stop pushing emails through. It's awesome when I have important work emails coming through and am not at my desk.

DNB, Have you tried completely shutting it down, taking out the battery, and then turning it back on? That usually solves it for me.

Christmas will be 3 months for H and I

I'll be kinda glad when my wedding is over. Mostly cause I'll finally be married. But partly cause I feel like all I do is talk wedding. I try hard not to, but it's difficult sometimes, especially when I have so many close friends/family getting married around the same time as me.

I don't know if it's the difference between the phones. I never had a problem with emails coming through on my blackberry, but I just got a droid a few days ago so I don't know if that's why.

It was sweet Loopy. I feel bad because usually I instantly write back to emails because I always have my phone on me. This is the third time this week that I have taken him a while to write back. Once I let the dog out front to pee and saw my neighbor out there too so we walked the dogs and talked for an hour and I didn't have my phone. And the other night it was raining while I was outside and I can't text and hold the umbrella and hold the leash. And now this. He made a joke the other night about "did your boyfriend leave yet?" And I know he doesn't think I would ever do that, but he is surrounded by guys with stories of that happening to them so I'm sure it does worry him a little bit.

I do like it a lot. I got the droid x, and had the blackberry storm before so I went from one touchscreen to another. But it is a million times faster and has way more apps. I was constantly doing battery pulls on the storm and it was still really slow. So other than this email issue I love it.

I dropped my flip phone the week before the wedding (3 months shy of my upgrade date) and the flip lid broke off. I used it that way (bluetooth only for calls, texting only on the touchscreen) for half a day, then called H and told him no way could I wait 3 months with a phone like that - so he told me I could get a Droid even though I would have to pay more for it. This is one of the reasons I love him

Yeah, I would think cheating would be a big concern in the military with husbands (and wives) gone a lot. I think you need to maintain a stronger trust in your spouse to maintain a marriage through that than a "normal" relationship. My grandfather was career Army and when they were together they really grew together.

Yeah H is thinking about paying retail for a new phone when he gets hone. He has the storm as well, and isn't available for upgrade until August. But with the line suspended for deployment it pushes back the upgrade date. So who knows what he will do. I know he hates his phone, but it would be pointless to pay to upgrade when he will be deploying again so soon.

My grandma (my grandpa died when I was in high school) has two identical rocking chairs in her den - she and my grandfather bought them for each other one year for Christmas. Grandpa hid his in the shed and told my mom and her brothers and sisternot to let Grandma see it, and Grandma hid hers in the cellar and told my mom and her brothers and sister not to let Grandpa see it. So the kids knew they'd bought the same chair for each other and Christmas morning, they brought their respective chairs out and just laughed and laughed... and then kept both of them

Yeah there is a horrible reputation with wives being at the bars the night the ship pulls out for deployment looking for their flings while the ship is gone. And there are also the people who get busted on the ship for fraternizing. Some who are married too. It's big time trouble if you get caught, like being demoted a rank and they make you call your spouse and tell them if you're married.

Hey Mica. Yep it's an unusually late night for all of us. I wanted to stick it out to reach gold. But I'm sure I'll be heading up to bed in a bit. Loopy is still reaching for silver tonight.
