Is anyone else around?

I had a semi busy day.... I went to see my horse, looked at some more wedding invitation styles... got the info I need to call David's bridal to make sure they're ready for me to bring my bm's next week... and I made citrucy black bean soup (mmmm). I also did my workout today- I'm doing the 30 day challenge that bodyrock.tv is doing right now. FI is doing it with me- we will see how we do when we repeat the fit test in 30 days!!

What are you lovely ladies up to?

Not much for me - my new laptop which FI bought me as a belated Christmas gift when mine died a horrible death on December 27th just arrived, so I installed Adobe Creative Suite and have been joyfully playing around!!!

Shan, I'm a Jersey Shore fan, too! I just finished Season 4 today actually. Guilty pleasure - the Situation is so milking everything for the publicity that he's really annoying me, when he used to be a nice guy I thought. Have you finished Season 4? Because I won't 'ruin' anything, but I wanna chat!

Oh, and also, I can totally make your siggy into prettyness. You'd just have to email me the pictures and tell me what you want it to look like.

Yep I didn't see the last couple episodes until tonight. I will admit the fact of them representing the US in Italy is mortifying. JWOW will always be my fav. I have a mega girl crush on her- she has become to much more classy too. Dena is legit an idiot and bugs the crap out of me with the stupid stuff she says. Snookie kinda annoyed me this season with alll the bf drama. She gets wastes acts like an idiot, cheats on her bf and wonders why he doesn't want to be seen with her?

JWOWW has gotten wayyyyy more classy with Roger as her boyfriend. Great guy, I really think they've got their stuff together in a weird guido way.

Dena cracks me up, but she disgusts me. Like how she was trying to sleep with Paulie?

Paulie's a good guy, he and Vinny make me laugh.

Ron & Sammie are pointless when they're not fighting, and horrible when they are. In general, they're wasted space.

And the Situation seems like he's just using that "I'm the villain" and "I'm not going to Jersey" thing to try to milk the drama and negotiate for more money with MTV. I feel like he's turned into a real primadonna, whereas he seemed like a decent guy (though a total hornball with no morals) in the first two seasons.

Hello! I just got home, had dinner at Mellow Mushroom with my girlfriends from school. I ate way too much and way too unhealthy, but it was lots of fun to catch up with them! Now I'm just working on some homework before I *hopefully* go to bed somewhat early tonight. Got to be up and at 'em early tomorrow to get to watch/maybe do procedures on the pediatric hem/onc kids.

Dena also doesn't seem that clean. The preview of her weave made me wanna throw up. Pair that with the fact that she rarely wears underwear or forgets to put them on makes me think she could use some personal hygiene lessons.

I really like Vinny and Pauly seems like a blast as a friend.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal if Snooki hooked up with Mike? She already admitted to cheating on him with Vinny. I just feel like its a way to stir up drama and ratings- but I'm over it.

Hi ladies! I had a crazy day today. I watched my friend's baby, which is always fun! But i had her bring him here so that i didn't have to leave the dogs all day, since I'm not sure how long the new one can be alone. Then a friend and her son came over to watch him with me, so it was craziness in the house. But we had a delicious dinner at Bob's Burgers and Brew (Kara, not sure if you ever went there while out here), and now I'm home relaxing.

I'm trying to clean out the fridge and freezer before the movers come next week, and use up what I can. I found a can of frozen orange juice, and we have about half a bottle of vanilla vodka. So I'm drinking that together and it's pretty good!

hey girls! Just relaxing here and watching jersey shore. I agree with Shan, that pretty much sums up my views on all of them.
Mel- yum! I went to Mellow Mushroom for the first time with Fire and it was really good!
Other than that I am playing with fonts for wedding signs and searching for an RD dress, we've made major honeymoon progress and did our budget. Still feeling a little anxious, but it'll work out.

I'm glad you girls watch Jersey Shore, too! My FI hates it, and he would NEVER watch it with me when he was here. My favorite has always been Vinny, because I think he's the most normal of them all.

Today is the first day that I feel like a normal, healthy person. I started feeling sick last Wednesday and it took a while to get over...sucky thing is that my 2-day trip to WI with my FI to see my best friend and sister's family ended up with me in bed the whole time and a trip to the ER.

On the positive, I was able to get a new charger for my laptop, so I can come post on here AND Skype my FI! At least the week is ending well!

All of you talking about Jersey Shore makes me feel a little left out. I've never had an interest in watching it, although I could totally see it being one of those "so bad it's good" shows... I got sucked into a lot of VH1 "celebreality" shows in undergrad that were like that.

I'm here...late to the party apparently. FIL is kind of making me crazy. He keeps telling me he's taking one of our dogs when DH gets back in exchange for watching them (if I have to go to training). Um no, we got our dogs intending to have them til the day they die. I understand that it's not the ideal situation where neither of us will be home for a while but geez. And isn't not like he's paying for food. I will pay for it til I leave (if I do) and then the allotment DH is sending him each month will pay for anything they need after that. Originally that allotment will pay for increased bills since I'll be staying in the apt attached to the house. DH is honestly thinking of having me ask my mom or dad to take me and the dogs in. I didn't want to ask them because they both already have dogs but ugh. AND FIL isn't trusting my judgement on my dogs. He wouldnt let them play with the other dogs at the park when I told him they're fine cause we go to the park all the find but he doesn't know their personalities or some crap. Then the one dog crawled over the back seat so his front was in the back seat and his butt was in the trunk. FIL pulled his tail to get him to back out. That's right I said pulled his tail!!! I was so upset plus my dog freaked. You do not do that to my dog or any dog for that matter. Why would I give you a f'ing dog. Sorry for the vent. I'm irritated.

Hi! Just got back from my best friend's birthday dinner, spent all day out working on wedding stuff....bought some fabric to make sashes for my bridesmaids' dresses...looked for blue shoes but all I could find were 3-4" heels

I'm jolly green giant-size and my FI is not, so I'm trying to find something under 2". Disappointing! Been pretty relaxing, all in all. Going to pick up FI's rings tomorrow, and back up to school in a couple days. It'll get good and crazy pretty soon when my last semester starts up!

I've never been a jersey shore watcher. Heck, I've never been much of a TV watcher. The only things I've ever cared to watch are Greys Anatomy, Bones and NCIS. haha.

LOVE Grey's and PP! I'm also glad they're back on - it's my least favorite thing about the holidays, all the shows going on break. I know, I'm a loser. I have no work right now, so I usually find a way to catch up during the day. I'll probably watch both of them today. FI would never watch them, so if I have to watch them at home, it's on my laptop (brand new - yipeee!!!) in the bedroom with the door closed.

Sammy, that's so not okay. On either level. Taking the dogs or yanking their tail?! Nooooo! I'd just find someone else to watch them for the summer. I'd totally volunteer, except I'll be living with my parents up north, so I don't think they'd be too keen on taking in two more dogs. Seriously though, that's ridiculous. Maybe he's 'joking' about that like he was joking about getting up early? Have your H set his own father straight about the dogs - he's the one who can really put his foot down with his own family.

Sammy - I'm so sorry your dealing with that with your FIL. Pulling on their tail is never okay and whether he is joking about taking a dog or not, that's not nice of him to do that,especially if it upsets you and he should be able to see that. I do agree with Cali about having your H talk to him that way it doesn't put you in an awkward situation.

Fire - I sent FI to work (duty weekend here) to explore the funjet website. But right now we realized we can just take a 10 day cruise to where we want to go for half the cost of what it would be to just go. So we're thinking either take a 10 day cruise in March or do a 7 day cruise in March and then another 4 day cruise in September (they have 4 day ones leaving out of Jacksonville all the time). The 7-10 day ones leave out of Port Canaveral/Tampa (closest ones to us). So now we are just debating on an Eastern Carribean side (Virginia Islands, Bahama's) or a Western Carribean side (Mexico). So.. we'll see. But I'm definitely relieved that we are making progress on that.
