So I got a Mixbook groupon, and am eagerly trying to put together our Engagement photo photobook... the pictures I have are just the ones posted online and apparently the resolution isn't high enough.... GRRRRRRr

Sigh, just wanted to vent, really wanted to get this made...

I was debating trying to resize the photos, through powerpoint or something, but not sure I'll be able to because my computer is being a pain in the a$$ lol

what a PITA resolutions can be. Can you get your photog to mail you a cd with your pics?

If you were to resize them they'd still print out crappy so it's not worth it. They request high resolution images so they don't print out pixelated. Your cover photo on fb is blown up a bit, that is what the photos would print out like, you wouldn't like it, trust me! Maybe you can suggest to a friend or family member that in lieu of a shower gift you want high res images from that session?

Just talked to my photog and apparently they are going to give me the CD

I explained why I wanted it, and I'm getting it free of charge from them

Seriously, I love my photographers.... Not only are their pictures amazing, they are excited to travel with us AND they do things like this

Great! You really need that disk to make the book. We gave one to my grandparent's for Christmas and they loved it. Everyone in the family did.

Apparently they will be burning the disk this week and we'll arrange to meet up so I can get it and don't have to worry about the mail lol

BTW Thanks Brea for pointing that out... knowing me I would have just done it and the regretted it afterwards when what I really needed to do was to step back and figure out how to get the right pictures
