I have been wearing bareminerals since freshman yr in high school and never once was told this for any sort of pictures.

  • What is the best eyeshadow coverage for wedding day? I want to look beautiful, but not like a peacock. And I don't want my blue eyes to be overpowered by dark shadows. I've found if I use greys that my eyes look smaller in pictures. Thoughts?

  • Motolyn-  Use nude lipliner under your lipstick and "color in your lips".  Apply lipstick over it.  Your lipstick should last all day.

Lauren-  You need to go to Sephora to get a foundation match.  But I'd stick to neutral colors.  I recommend the Naked Palette from Urban Decay.

Depends on your skin type.  If you have normal to dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it because it makes you look ashy.  If your skin is oily, go for it.

I spray my face with a fine mist of water after I finish applying all the powdered stuff, but before I do mascara/eyeliner.  Solves the problem for me. :)

Nothing is sexier than sex in heels.  What's the height difference?

Thanks Shoes, by the end of the night I end up slathering lip gloss and running back out.
  • I have really really really oily skin. I wear bare minerals makeup and use a oil free facewash and oil free moisturizer. But I still end up super freaking shiney and my make up looks caked by like 10am.

I do the oil blotter sheets, but only if I remember. I tried using an oil free primer under my powder foundation but it did nothing to help. Is there anything else I can do to keep the oil at bay for a little longer during the day? I feel like a gross oily faced teenager when I go into meetings.

I also don't wear a lot of eye make up because my skin is so oily (eyelids too) that if I wear eyeliner, I end up with a smudged line on my upper lid about 2 hours after applying. I've tried eyelid primers too with no success.

    HALP!

7 inches....that's what 4-5 inch heels were made for hehehe....

All else fails I go with being the human "fanny pack" and just wrap your legs around his waist and let the wall take some of the weight off you guys.  Dated a guy that was a little over a foot taller than me once.  Yeah... that was interesting.

Ok.  I'm going to guess that you're cool-toned.  Purple eyeshadow looks great with cool tones, and really brings out blue eyes.  I vote you try that.

It's all about moderation.  When we met, I had a little purple eyeshadow on.  I mixed it with grey and some brown.  You can brighten up neutral tones by combining/layering shadows.  But if you went all BRIGHT PURPLE SHADOW BRIGHT PINK LINER AND SOME ROYAL BLUE MASCARA, you'd look like a 5 year old.

If you're going to do BRIGHT color makeup, make that ONE color the focus on ONE part of your face and do everything else NATURAL.
