I walked down the aisle to "Angel" by Jack Johnson. I had to try soooo hard not to start crying as my dad and I started to walk. That song just gets me going.

I walked down the aisle to Wayra's 'Mother Earth' (or something like that). Basically Native American flutes. I have to think hard about the other important songs. I can't even remember our first dance song at the moment.

I walked down the aisle to Edelweiss by Rogers and Hammerstein. I fought so hard for that one, I absolutely love that song. The church's music director, however, did not.

I had a pianist play "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain for when I walked down the aisle. I wanted it to be my first dance song since forever. H said no and came up with this idea. It was perfect.

I was trying to explain to FI how I used to know all their names (men's and women's) and he just looks at me like "so what". He doesn't get it. My mom and I used to watch all the big competitions. I have no clue who any of these people are.

My grandpa has family that literally climbed mountains out of Austria after the Nazi occupation, so he's always liked The Sound of Music because it reminds him of that. I obviously really love the Olympics too. I was just really thrown off before they started and they came out with the report about how they all have orgies and give away 100,000 free condoms becuase they all have sex with each other constantly. Do they really have to report that? It just threw me off.

MuSu - That was Joannie Rochette from Montreal, Canada! Her mother died of a heart attack the day she arrived in Vancouver for the Olympics, it was such a tear jerker. She became a national hero here.
