Re: PIP party

  • We played board games, sometimes.  We played Sequence a lot.  And I can remember having marathon Risk games with XH, my brother, and my brother's friends.

    Crossfire was awesome.

Do kids still play with marbles? My brother and I had a pretty impressive marble collection when I was younger, SO many kids. Its amazing how simple things were that amused us.

Speaking of soup, I absolutely LOVED this stuff as a kid, but haven't seen it in stores for years:

I remember eating it with either PB&J or grilled cheese.  So yummy.
I didn't do marbles but did anyone collect Pogs? Or Beanie Babies?
    Posted by edielaura
I did marbles a bit but pogs were my thing. I remember I went to a birthday party in 2nd grade and the kid got so many slammers. I had a good amount of (not cool) pogs but I didn't have any slammers. When I got home, I cried. My mom took me to K-mart and got me 2 of them.

    What a baby.

  • I collected Beanie Babies.  I didn't have any rare or really sought after ones, but I had a pretty impressive collection.  They were mostly gifts.

They were pretty effed up looking back on things.

I'm not going to say it, but you know what I'm thinking.

  • I never did the Beanie Babies thing.  I can remember my aunt fighting over Tickle Me Elmos on Black Friday when they were big.  I don't even think my cousin wanted one that badly, she was just determined to get her one.
