No Christmas proposal here but I did get engaged on 12/4. I'm from Houston and have been with FI for 6 years. We have yet to pick a date but it will probably be early 2011.

Yes, I was thinking puke fern and perhaps turd brown?

Colors: purple and orange ish yellow? with some red? You can see I am decisive. I love the mango calla lilies and purple so something so I can have those.

Hmm long engagement - I could give you a long story, but really it is procrastination and saving up to be able to pay for the wedding outright.

I'm Colleen; FI and I got engaged 6 months ago, and our wedding is 5/23/2010. This is the second time around for both of us. It will be an outdoor wedding and indoor reception. Our colors are blue and brown (I think AA calls them blue jay and espresso, but whatever).

What else would you like to know?

Not really...some people make jokes that it seems like we will never get married but that's it. For awhile it seemed like we would never get engaged but I never pushed it. We both knew that we wanted to get married at some point and I was fine with that. Now that we are engaged I am just ready to be married!

I'll bite. I have been engaged for a little over a year. I am getting married in 24 days! My colors are eggplant and champagne.
I have lurked on and off for a year or so... This place is great entertainment to distract me from work.

Our wedding will probably be early 2011. I have absolutely no clue of what colors yet. We both like the idea of black and white but I am not sure of an accent color yet.

I have lurked off and on for awhile. I started lurking when I was a BM in a wedding maybe 2 years ago and will come back every once in awhile to check things out.

Favorite posters = Fishy, Salt, Nebb (they all make me laugh)
Least favorite = I don't know. Generally, the ones who get all uppity when they don't get the answers they want (but it adds to the entertainment)
Favorite drama = BellaCullen sticks in my mind.

me- I don't drink hard liquor by itself. Mai Tai and Margarita are my drinks of choice.

Don't really have favorites. I think its the combination that makes it fun to watch.

Favorite know moment. Sometimes its when the repeated/absurd questions some up (can I un-invite, etc) that sit back and go "oh here it comes, they're gonna let her have it!"

I actually got married this past June. Didn't have a Christmas proposal! I only occasionally posted on my local during the planning process but now have lurked a bit since the wedding for entertainment value at work! I don't post since I don't have the time to keep up and don't want to post/run.
Here is my intro - I'm from Seattle, DH and I are big Seahawks fans and we have a 1 year old boxer!
