confessions?

I already have my halloween costume for my non-existant baby picked out:

I'd prefer my child to be a month or two old around halloween just for this costume. It's cuter on newborns.

I clicked on a link to enter to win 1000 bucks for Pottery Barn Kids. But they want a due date for my non-existent kid. So I didn't enter.

Sometimes I'm not sure I want to have children. I've expressed this to FI and he seems to think I'll get over it. I suspect he's right. I do love new born baby goodness with all their little chubby appendages and their cooing. And I want kids. I just don't want to deal with pregnancy/ashitting screaming infant.

I want to knit this for my nephew to wear this Halloween, but I'm pretty sure I should have started on it 3 months ago.

notamrs, that's cute, but if you do knit it, please to be leaving out the dangly bits between the legs. It looks like stringy poo.

the thing i am looking forward to MOST after this whole pregnancy ordeal is over is being able to shop in normal stores again.  i miss shopping.  a lot.

last night i experienced that fresh hell that is nursing bra shopping.  when will death come?  apparently, not in that dressing room.

I read that children born within 3 months of the age cut off date for kindergarten are more likely to do well in school. So now I totally want a January-March baby, but I don't want to wait until April to TTC.

We probably aren't dressing up for Halloween this year, but I'd seriously consider going as Jersey shore cast members if we do.

I already have my announcement post title all picked out if this IVF cycle works and is timed according to plan.

Age cutoff for kindergarten is usually 9/1.  So TTC around Dec and you'll be golden. You know, if it takes on the first couple of tries. ;)

Was it 3 months in either direction?  Or 1.5 months in either direction?  I have big reservations about my kid being one of the oldest in his class because he just missed the cutoff.  Then again, if I somehow send him a year early, he'll be the youngest in his class, and that's not good, either.  (says the 9/11 baby)

L&R- -H and I are getting sucked into being part of the Jersey Shore cast with some friends. I would love to have heard the convo where Jon's friends told him that they need me to be Snooki because i have the long black hair, I'm short and have "giant boobs". Love single football coaches. Now if I can find somone to throw a fruity drink in my face---any takers?

CW The pea costume is adorable. I may not have unborn children's costumes picked out, but I have a long list of potential names in my organizer.

Here's my confession - I am DREADING the next six months or so.  one freaking thing after another - birthday, halloween, anniversary, another birthday, thanksgiving, another birthday, christmas, fuckingnewyears, all interspersed with stupid fuckingfootball and snow and cold and misery.

Can it just please be the beginning of summer again?

I secretly hoard names and don't tell people what I like, because I don't want them to "steal" my names.

But this isn't really a confession as I think it's normal.

I'm secretly really sad that I am waiting to have children.  But I want to be 30 and in LV without kids and not pregnant.  Also, I want to try to run a marathon while pregnant.  Yes, I am crazy.

Thistlebud is going to be Yoda for his/her first Halloween. H will wear a Luke Skywalker costume and the kid will be carried in a back baby carrier. It's not a choice for either of them.

I started out overweight when I got pregnant and I still am. I dropped 10lbs in my first trimester and since then I've only gained 4. I'm not upset about this. I'm hoping to maintain the weight throughout the rest of my pregnancy so that when I have the baby I can weight less than I did when I started all of this.

O-Face, I get all PO'd when someone ganks my names too. I had a friend change her unborn baby's name to my fave girl name days before she was born. I thought it was safe to tell her.

I started randomly listening to NPR again the other day.  I forgot how much I loved NPR.

Also, friend's bf was completely shocked that I liked NPR.  Dad also thinks I'm crazy for liking NPR.  Whatever, NPR and O-face=lurb.
