Last time I spent the day with my niece and nephew, I took them to a movie and let them share a icee. That was their spoiling. But then we went to one of the other stores in the mall and I told them they could pick out one book and that was what they could get.

Not at all MUNI. That's what we send FI's greats. Books I mean. Since we're book collectors, and FI knows a fair number of authors through his hobby, we do signed firsts usually.

I wasn't big on spoiling my N&N's with stuff. I liked taking them cool places or baking with them or making some project or just hanging out. I'm kind of the same way with my own kids. I'd rather spend money on experiences than stuff. Although they definitely have plenty of clothes, books, toys, etc.
Hmmm. Would it be bad if I had another root beer float pop?
My SIL is pregnant with their first! I'm so excited. I was the baby in the family so other than the out of state cousins whose kid I've only seen twice, this will be the first baby I'll really be spending time with. Babies scare me. : / noisy fragile creatures.
Edit - Just realized that sounds kind of contradictory. I'm excited for Bro and SIL and excited to be an aunt but nervous about the tiny baby part.
I like giving books. My sister gets them from me for every birthday/christmas. Along with antoehr gift, but I always give a book too. This year for her birthday I'm going to get her a magnetic mustache to put on her car.

A lot. Would you like us all to summarize the goings on the past couple weeks for you?
Books are an awesome gift! It'd only be boring if the books were boring, I guess.
I very vividly remember my oldest nephew getting clothes for his fourth birthday from his grandma (my mom.) He was PISSED when he opened that package. My mom never bought him clothes again.

J&K - please, I tried to stumble through FFF but I feel so out of the loop since I can't get on here regularly. I have however been lurking on my month board on TB and it's a little cray cray over there with some girl panhandling for formula.

If you read the FFF and saw the stuff about my photographer, I have an update. Apparently she has a bad back (poor girl is only 23) and went wake boarding and reinjured(apparently that's not a word) it. She's already out of the hospital and recovering at home. I'm glad it's nothing severe.

It'll be like that massive post over on WR&W, but at least J's would be organized and readable.
Muni, the way Gordon Ramsay is going, at least 3 of his shows will still be on after law school, I'm sure.
