After Party Locations

My option two wedding is an afternoon ceremoney/lunch reception on Sunday 10-10-10...everything wrapping up around 5ish.  BUT... I know our friends won't be done partying at that time.

So, if I go that route... We're having an "unofficial" after party, (I'll invite everyone through Evite and post it on our wedding webpage.)  A lot of our friends will have that Monday off and iIt's a federal holiday too. We always find a place to go after every wedding we attend,  I just want to make this one a little more organized and nicer than the places the guys usually pick.  Besides, I want another reason to buy another awesome party dress.  haha

My question is... do you guys know of any upscale places with dancing in the north Dallas/Addison/Plano area or surrounding areas?  A couple come to mind... but I know there has to be more options out there.

 I just want to make sure I have all of my ducks in a row before I book our option two wedding.  :)

    I'm no help -- but I LOVE the idea of an afternoon wedding and after party.  I think it sounds like a lot of fun.  The only Knottie I remember recently doing one had her afterparty at the W Hotel I think--it sounded like a blast! 

    I'd still wear my wedding dress though if you can.  You only get to wear it once!  Plus you'll get alot of attention.

    We had a group and went to Blackfin. It was a Sat night and was pretty crowded but we actually were able to snag most of the couch type seating on the patio. It was great. I'd do it all over again.

    I changed into a different dress, it was just a simple white sun type dress, but it was July, so I wanted to get out of that wedding gown.

    that was me that had an afterparty at the W!  I loved it for several reasons.

    1.  We got to take cool pictures in another location.  (some of my favorites came from the W)
    2. I could justify the price of the suite as part afterparty part hotel room for wedding night.
    3.  we were able to buy our own alcohol so we were able to get a lot more than if we had paid for peoples drinks at a bar.
