I can't answer because... I can't remember. FI and I were coworkers, and when he hired in I had been there long enough that I stopped bothering to learn the names of the new hires, since most of them didn't last. I think I was seeing someone around the time he hired in, but I honestly don't remember.

The very first time I met FI, it was on a double date with our then-long term S/Os.

I'd been with my ex for well over a year at the time, and he was very close friends w/FI and FI's ex (Who, at the time had been together almost 5 years and were living together) since high school.

The whole story is pretty long and messed up, but the Cliffs Notes version is: both relationships ended badly, nobody "stayed friends", FI and I didn't develope any kind of "feelings" until way after both relationships were officially over ... and it wound up working out totally awesome for the 2 of us.

I had just broken up with the worst boyfriend ever (drug addict, stole from me and my family, OD'd and was in a coma, cheated on me with a nasty crackhead) a month or two before we met. He was married. We talked off an on for a few months, he dissapeared for a while, turns out he'd gone to Korea to try and work things out with the wife, didn't work so he came back and we started talking again. Our first "date" was his friend's wedding. His wife called while we were at dinner later that night. I answered the phone, it was hilarious. "He's not here, can I tell him who called?" I had been single for about nine months (after I had been with someone for 8 months and he wasn't even really a boyfriend) and was OK with that, but wanted a boyfriend (mostly to say that I had one--I was in high school) and I asked him out, which I had never done in my entire life, and basically thought if it didn't work out that we went to different high schools and it wouldn't be a big deal. I'm glad it worked out

I had been dating one of his friends during high school for 6 months - that ended when I decided to go away for school. FI promptly stepped in (although I technically asked him out) and we started our 4 year LDR. Technically when we met I was single since it would have been in band class in grade 7. But we only joined the same social circle and got to know each other when I was dating his friend.

I wasn't, I was a freshman in college, it was the first week of classes- I just saw this really Hott guy and had a little crush, A few weeks later i flirted with him- he had forgotten meeting me (being an upclassman and all)- and i did not find out until the next semester when we becasme close friends that he had been dating someone that entire semester!

I had been out on a few dates with this guy my BFF had introduced me to, but nothing serious the 1st time we meet. FI had been coming into the bank were i work to cash his pay check. A few months later i was out at a bar one night with the girls and we ran into each other...he asked if i was still seeing "what's his face" and thanks goodness i wasn't!!! So FI asked me out and the rest is history.

We've been together for 3yrs now, and will be married in just 3 short months, but we can't wait!!!!! March 20th here we come!!!!!

Nope. We met online through a friend and we talked non stop for about nine months before physically meeting. After we met he moved where I was living and we were roommates and then we started dating and finally decided that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together as a married couple. We have been together now for almost 4 years.

Oh, no... The very first time we met, we were about 9 years old. He moved in around the corner.

I moved, and we ran into eachother in high school. Started dating... I left for college, then he moved into the city too. The rest is history.

Technically yes, but I had tried to break up with him several times because he paid absolutly no attention to me untill I tried to break up with him. Needless to say I finally had a reason to stay away. FI and I have been together and lived together for 3 years this January.
