morning? I swear there were more threads at 3 am when I couldn't sleep. didn't Jackie have one complaining about TK? It's gone now, surprise surprise. Anyway. hi! I'm finally alive again. I caught somethin Sunday and was pretty much dying from puking for 24 hours. I feel betterish now though, but I'm staying home in case it was/is contagious. Nuggs/J- did either of you get sick too? who brought the flu to brunch?? How's everyone doing?

This is probably TMI but I have some weird rash on my torso...my very medically accurate googling tells me that it is likely some sort of fungal thing (sorry, gross I know), but I am not willing to take a day to go to the doctor so I will have to sit at the clinic after 5 when it is busiest.

A house that we were looking at just dropped its asking price by 10k and that makes me really want to go buy it. The condo in our complex sold for 15k more than we were hoping to get so now we will be listing higher (and getting more $). We figure we will have enough $ to redo a kitchen or floors if needed so it makes me feel better about buying a place that might need some work.

And some kid forgot his/her cellphone in their locker and it has been ringing for two minutes straight. Awesome.

Im in an excellent mood today. Though, im sure that will come crashing down once I get to work and start dealing with BS. The sales guy who is leaving started throwing a huge hissy fit over stuff yesterday and said he was going to call and blast a supplier of ours for pricing (for totally irrational reasons) and not to be surprised if he isnt willing to do business with us after he is done. If that happens, it will speed up how fast I am out of a job. I am already going to be out of a job because of this asshole and hes just trying to sweeten the deal a bit I guess.

I guess that rant doesnt do much to express my excellent mood. Im going to see the punch brothers after work tonight and im so super excited. If you dont know who that is, you need to check them out cause they are AWESOME.

Thai for dinner last night was awesome. Especially because my dad picked up the tab.

Tonight, more prep upstairs. I'll probably take down the rest of the fugly wall paper border in the bedroom and maybe get painting!

Good morning. I am sitting on hold with AT&T while I'm waiting to start work. My phone won't connect to my blue tooth in my car. I think it's the car, not the phone, but I have to follow all possible paths to get this.

Steph, that sucks. Any sickness relating to the stomach is always debilitating. I'm glad you're starting to feel better. My mom used to always give me gingerale and now I've come to hate the stuff because I always associate it with nausea/vomitting.

Numbers, whatever you do don't go to the ER for a rash! I had the allergic reaction rash to the Implanon and I was stuck in the ER for 6 hours. Hopefully you can get into your regular docs and they will just give you some cream. I had poison ivy before that they thought was some sort of fungal thing and they gave me all sorts of creams.

Today is an OK day. Yesterday was rough with my friends funeral over the weekend but I read a sample of a book (something along the lines of Live Everyday like it's Friday) and it made me realize that I do have a lot to be thankful for, I just need to switch my perspective on things. I'm hoping it will help me get out of my "funk" and so far so good.

Good morning. Work sucks. I want to go home already. I feel like a broken record...

I'm also irritated at SIL. We agreed to go this Monster Truck thing (don't even get me started...) on Saturday for nephew's birthday. We told them we were just going to be coming up for the day because it's too hard to do overnight with the dogs andplusalso she said the thing started at two. Well, she text H last night and apparently it doesn't start at 2, it starts at 7pm. I'm so pissed. My mom wanted to do something Saturday night for my birthday and now that isn't going to happen and we are trying to figure out if we want to drive home at midnight or stay the night and I'm just irritated about the whole dammn situation. I sound like a biitch but I really don't care right now. I hate when people tell you one thing and you plan for it and then it all gets screwed to helll.

I am clearly a peach this morning.

Morning!

It was way too hot in our bedroom last night (not sure why, I checked and the a/c was on), which gave me nightmares, so I'm very tired today.

Not much going on right now, but I'm excited about tomorrow because H is taking me to get a new phone and a laptop. I'm not sure what to get for either, though, since I'm not very tech-savvy.

Thanks, Lbarr. It did suck. a lot. I can't do gingerale either, so... I just tried to drink as much water as possible. Thankfully, it only lasted a day.

Numbers, sorry about the rash. Do you guys have the Minute Clinic kind of things up there? That's what I would do; they can usually deal with rash stuff.

Sesh, did you guys decide what you're going to get?

lbarr - I posted about it in the GM thread yesterday, but there was discussion about crab rangoons and Thai food going on at the same time, so it probably got lost in the shuffle. I'll just C&P it from yesterday's thread.

My race went really well, in fact, I wouldn't have changed a thing. There was a whole group of us that started the race together (a few of us moved back a couple corrals so that we could start at the same time). One of my running friends stuck with me the whole way, and she was very encouraging and knew so much about this course since this was her fourth time running it. I didn't really hit the wall till around mile 11 or 12. I was just ready to be done already. I never stopped to walk once though, I just kept a steady pace and every once in a while we'd lengthen our stride to stretch out our muscles. I finished in 2 hours 32 mins, and my goal was 2h 30m so I got pretty dang close! I'm already looking forward to my next race.

Morning morning.... Sorry I haven't been around! My office moved and at my new office, my cubicle is set up so my back faces the bosses lol.

I am actually in a strangely good mood today and I think it's from working out. I did a lower body workout after work tonight and I ran this morning and did arms. Now I am at work super early. Strange. This can't last lol.

Today is phone upgrade day - anyone have any suggestions? I have a Blackberry Curve now, and I'm thinking of getting the Torch. But I'm also looking really closely at the iPhone, depending on the price difference to change to it. What do you all have?

Good morning ladis. I finally got back from New York this weekend. The plane ride wasn't as bad as I thought but I'm still not comfortable with it. I think we all have the work blues. I dread coming into work every day. I need a life change.

I am in a strangely upbeat mood. I think working out is helping. I worked out last night and again this morning and I feel energized. It's a nice way to start a Tuesday.

Steph, I think we're leaning toward the iPhone but haven't decided yet. We want to do some more research. I did look up tht app I mentioned though, and I need to order an attachment for it so I need to decide soon to make sure I get it in time for my event.

Hiiiii. I'm in my nine (yes, NINE) day stretch between jobs. I'd love to say how great it is, but the dog has woken me up at 7AM every day so far.

Also, yesterday he threw up all over me. And peed at least 13 times in the house, even though he was essentially housebroken. And poor H didn't get home unti 9:30 because his job asked him to stay late, and then while driving home, he got a flat tire.

So today, I am 100% side-eyeing the pup. And I'm going out, because I need to be away from this dog before I lose my mind.

Also, I'm making turkey burgers tonight and I can't wait to eat them.

I'm glad you feel better, Steph. Congrats on your race, Mehg!

What kind of car is it? Pop the battery out of your cell phone and put it back in. That sometimes fixes it. Also delete the pairing and repair it.
