Length of engagement: We got engaged on March 31, 2012, so almost a full 18 months!

What do you do for a living? What does your partner do? I’m an executive assistant at the University of Michigan, and am also a part-time master’s student. He is a food and beverage manager at a private country club.
Any kids or furbabies? We have a dog, two rabbits, and a turtle
Most exciting thing about planning a wedding: I’m just so incredibly happy to be marrying my best friend! I’m also very excited to see how our personalities are reflected in our wedding vision.

Any other comments or fun facts about you? My FI and I are the youngest couple in our group of friends, and the last to get married. I can't wait to join the club!

Number of guests: Last count was 172 but I'm betting we're gonna need to add a couple more.
How long have you been with your significant other? 5 years this September!

What do you do for a living? What does your partner do? I'm currently something like an office assistant at a craft store (they call me a "Support Specialist"). He's a graduate student for Electrical Engineering at University of Tulsa.
Any kids or furbabies? We recently adopted a miniature schnauzer named Chauncey and we have a turtle named Merlin.
Most exciting thing about planning a wedding: Marrying my best friend of course! Plus, there's cake!
What do you hope to get out of frequenting this board? It's nice to know what other September brides are up to in the planning process. Gotta keep myself on track!

How long have you been with your significant other? We will be together 3 years in November. We met while tailgating for Bengals games and just hit it off as friends. From our first date on, we've been inseparable.

What do you do for a living? What does your partner do? I'm a legal secretary for our local child support office. I also work part-time at an arts center. My fiance does graphics work.
Any kids or furbabies? We have two australian shepherds and a ferret.
Most exciting thing about planning a wedding: Knowing that all the work we're putting into it will end up with us finally being husband and wife and a hopefully a memorable event for our family and friends. This may sound corny, but the most exciting part for me is the bonding time with those that have been so helpful thus far. My stepmom has been incredibly supportive, especially with my mother being deceased. And it's so cute how in the first week we announced our engagement and we settled on using mason jars for our wedding, we had over 60 by the end of the month from family members being excited and randomly picking them up for us.
What do you hope to get out of frequenting this board? Advice and support from those that are going through it at the same time. And hopefully develop some friendships on here too. :-)
Any other comments or fun facts about you? I'm the last to get married in my group of friends (I'm 35). There will no bouquet toss at the reception. There is no one to catch it! LOL Although it may have taken a long time, I truly found the most perfect man for me on this planet.
