Good evening... FI and I are expecting a house guest tonight. He said he would be here around 6 (45 minutes ago) but just called to say he is leaving now so it will be another 2.5 hours. I'm annoyed, but whatever. I'm just going to work on more invitations.

I have gotten a lot of good wedding ideas from it. I need to start pinning some recipes and trying them.

I have them all printed and now all of the invitations are cut out. I just need to finish cutting out the inserts and put them in the mail. I prestamped some envelopes in between when I needed a break too. I hopefully will be able to get them done tonight and tomorrow. Luckily we got the addresses typed and printed also so they just wrap around the envelope and that won't take much time at all.

It is FI's best friend/ our best man. He lives a few hours away and decided to come down. It seems silly to drive all that way now to get in so late, but he is very spontaneous like this. He has come in to visit for 2-3 hours before.

Edie- I'm glad you mentioned pintrest. I stumbled across some wedding hair and it reminded me my trial is next weekend and I need to figure out what I want to do. I'm clueless.

Evening. I got home a few hours ago and am relaxing/reading. TBBT is on and I'm cuddling with Sir Whisky while waiting for the pizza to finish cooking.

Tomorrow I have to go get a prescription filled. My tooth started throbbing like crazy today (figures, on the day I have to do a lot of talking) so it looks like I'll be getting tht root canal after all. Damnit.

At the wedding, the bar has been closed for over 2 hours now and I'm dying. We also got sat at a table where we hardly know anyone, when all of my group of friends is sat elsewhere. Boourns.

I'm just hanging out, pretty bored. H is sleeping. He wakes up at 11 to go to work. The pups are passed out on the couches and there is nothing good on tv!

It closed during dinner, which started at 6 and has been a lot of farting around since we all finished eating nearly an hour ago. I THINK it reopens after speeches, which are going on now.

We went to a huge air show and open house at an airforce base today. despite frequent reapplication of sunscreen we both got burned. I'm mainly burned on my chin, which is a sexy look!

I'm feeling super dehydrated and tired so I think I'll be in bed within the hour.

Tomorrow I have to prep for our big camping trip. I had grand plans to pre-make meals and freeze them but that's looking less likely now.

Sometimes receptions are 5 hours but the bar package is only 4 so some people close it during dinner. It's actually pretty common at the weddings I've been to. We were lucky that we supplied our own alcohol and bar tenders so we didn't have to shut ours down.

FI and I had an awesome day. Lots of errands and exercise in the early and then we laid by the pool and made some friends, drank and got sun. We made an awesome dinner--grilled lobster tail, shrimp and corn on the cob with our special recipes and it was fabulous. And we realized that we got all that, plus a 12 pack of beer for less than our typical trip to B-Dubs, so we will be doing this more often. Literally we licked the plates.
