no veil. Im having a wedding on the beach and Im doing a low side bun with a big tropical flower. It's gonna be simply elegant and still formal. which is exactly the idea for the whole wedding.

I am doing this, but I will also have some hair jewels in so that I can take the veil off after the ceremony and still not look plain.
I'm doing fingertip without a blusher and taking it off either right after the ceremony or after the first dance (Haven't decided yet). Like pp said, I think I'm going to get a hair comb so when I take the veil off I still have something special in my hair.
Mine is a 2-layer fingertip with no blusher. Very simple with no edging or embellishments. I feel like it's the only time I will ever get to wear one, so why not?!
i love my veil! it's fingertip (but i think on the longer side of fingertip...goes to right beneath my bum) and edged with a beautiful alencon lace that goes great with a little detail on my dress, which is otherwise very simple.
picture attached...but i'm having the veil shorter by 5" than what is shown.
fingertip 2 layer veil with scalloped edge and light beading on the trim - it's GOT a blusher attached, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it as a blusher or if I'm just going to keep it to the back for more volume.
I didn't feel like a bride without the veil on, plus I sorta think I look awesome in a veil lol.
Cathedral length - no blusher (In his words while watching a wedding on a movie when the groom lifts the veil from brides face, "I don't have to lift that thing do I...??" *Very concerned look on face* - he's such a dork!) PIB
I am going to take the veil off at the reception anyway, so I am not going to drop $50 on one to wear for 45 minutes. I did not want to waste my time making one.
Re: Veil or No Veil?
Haven't decided on the blusher...I think not with my dress but I do like them.

So...length-wise, I have no idea yet. Simple, though. Very, very simple.
