I confess it really irks me that DH's mother is house searching for us and sending listings to DH every day. He insists that she just likes looking at listings and does it all the time. But it bothers me. Especially now becuase there is nothing new on the market, so she just keeps sending us stuff we've already seen.

I think mainly it bugs me becuase she is ignoring everything about the house except the basement. Because she knows that DH really wants a nice basement for his band setup. So she'll send us these horrible, overbudget houses we'd never want to move into with emails like "I know the taxes are 11K and its next to a crackhouse, but look at that basement!" She's a dear woman, but seriously, we are not moving into a basement. Its just a feature.

I can't wait to get out of this house. I hate that when I am off, FI is still kinda working and he talks SO LOUD on the phone it kinda makes it pointless to even try to hear the tv. GRRRR

Oh and why oh why did is 'step dad' say for us to go look at houses if hes not SURE that he can get the mortgage. WTF?! Why, thats like a effing cocktease! ASSSS

I am starting to not want to go on my month board. Do they all need to come make a diff post for 'sent out invites' WTF. I told them it would be less clutter if they just said these small things in the morning post. Nobody listens.

B2B - does he want you to look at houses for him or for you guys? If its for you, why does it matter if he can get a mortgage or not?

house is for US, but we can not get a mortgage yet, so FI is going on the books so that in a couple years we can get a mortgage and get it out of his stepdads name. we found a house and i love it, and wanna go see IN it but I am mad and dont want to go see it now bc if I am not able to have it then its pointless. This is why it makes me mad that he has to help us.

Yeah, property taxes in PA are why we'll be moving in to MD. It's funny how a few miles makes a huuuge difference. SoChesCo's property taxes are absolutely ridiculous.

Vent. I wish my FI would take up his parents' offer of letting him have some of their land for us to build a house on. I think they've got, like, 100+ acres and they're just gonna give us however much we want and help us tear down the trees and build our perfect house from the ground up.

And he refuses to accept it because A) he doesn't wanna live that close to his parents [which I get, but it's not like they'd be right next door. We could put a good 10 acres or so in between us] and

he doesn't want to have to share a driveway with them because that would be the only way we could get out to the main road. Bleh. Seriously? I'd love to be able to build our own house from the ground up; it's cheaper that way. And we wouldn't have to even purchase the land, his dad just wants to give it to us.

I confess that I HATE when DH leaves the volume on on his laptop. I do not need to hear when you click on things or when you go to a website that has an ad with sound on it. really just keep your sound off unless you need to hear it.
I also HATE the clicking noise on Ipods, I do not need to hear you scrolling through all your songs.

Oh. I also want to vent that I'm a little upset at FI because I really wanted to have Marry Me by Train be the song I walk down the aisle to [it made me cry within, like, 20 seconds into the lyrics lol], but he pretty much just vetoed it. He said it was "too plain." I'm like, "Really?" Wth does he want me to play? Fer Sure by Medic Droid? Seriously, it's the song I'm walking down the aisle to, it needs to be slow, soft, and sweet. I don't understand what he meant by "too plain" and he wouldn't elaborate.

Just my opinion, but if this is something you feel really strongly about, don't give up on it. Maybe you caught him at a bad time, or maybe he just didn't have a chance to really sit and listen to it?

Then the other day I heard it come on the radio when we were in the car, so I told him it was the song and asked him to listen to it and I turned it up. When I asked what he thought, he said it was "too plain." I asked him what he thought the song should be and he said he didn't know, just that that one was too plain. Like, that's not really telling me anything. He needs to give me a reason or make a suggestion about something he'd like instead. Like, if he'd give me an idea to work with, I'd try to find something else. But I really like that song. It doesn't have any kind of specific meaning or anything, I just think it's a really sweet song that would go great for walking down the aisle, ya know?

Sorta but I think they're softer and have more of a flare to the bottom whereas jeggings are super tight and sometimes just superstrechy denim.

I'm really contemplating this although they only have one inseam and I know they'll be short on me -- but do I really care if it's stretchy and has an elastic waistband? I don't think so..

Cara & Meredith - DON'T DO IT. I considered buying them too but then I realized I would just be giving in to my fatness and never know in the future when things were "getting tight" because they would just keep expanding with me. It's a bad step. Don't take it!
