Overall things that would be a deal breaker for me:

Not wanting children
Not liking dogs
Hurting animals
Child abuse
1st Degree murder
most likely 2nd degree murder
not respecting me or my family
most drug crimes....excluding those involved with pot or addiction to prescription pain medications as I can see how these things can happen and people can work through them
Drunk driving
Kidnapping
Terrorism
Rape or molestation (Though I would consider on a case by case basis for statutory rape)

I have only skimmed, but I didn't see anyone address this scenario.

What if the crime occured when they were a minor?
A local elementary school student here shot and killed a peer. All the details haven't come out yet, but under the age of 12, are you really culpable?
What if the crime occured during childhood, and no other crimes have been commited since?

Reddy, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Maybe I'm imagining the worst, but it sounds like police need to be notified.

I also think I've been in a similar situation to yours, and yeah, it fucking sucks.

Yes, I would and did. My first husband was in the Army before we were married. It didn't end well though; he divorced me. Later, he was diagnosed with PTSD.
