I have never seen the Notebook....all my students loved that friggin movie.

Actually it was on the tv the last time I was at the ER for myself...I saw like 20 minutes of it...it seemed ok i guess.

To all you lactose intolerant ice cream lovers, have you tried this? The banana flavor is mild, and I hide it a bit more with peanut butter and chocolate. But it's reasonably healthy and lactose-free:

Hockey - I have only seen the end part, and it's depressing as hell. I don't want to see the start of it.

If we get a kitty, I hope Berkeley doesn't try to eat her. We'll probably have to get a babygate and keep the kitty upstairs or in H's office or something if Berkeley's maternal side isn't sparked. She's great with babies and puppies, but I don't know about kittens.

Mica that kitty is seriously cute.

Now I want ice cream, too. My son makes it, and it's amazing. But wow does a lot of bad shiiiiiiit go in it. Of the artery-clogging, fat-ass inducing kind.

ETA: But it is worth it

Breyers has Lactose Free Vanilla on the east coast and Vanilla and Chocolate in SoCal.

Also, Coconut Dream is really good.

Hubby is lactose intolerant and milk fat/butter fat breaks me out in hives. I still eat it though. Ice cream is heaven in a dish. It's my comfort food.

Mica - Love the kitty! Those are some ears, she looks like a Bengal cross, is it?

The Notebook is an incredible love story and classic Nicholas Sparks. What Nicholas Sparks movie didn't make you cry? Even his autobiography was a tearjearker. He's a Carolina native and I love his writing style, but only in small doses. He is depressing. LOL The Wedding is the sequel to the Notebook, if you read, it's a decent read as well.

I'm not much of a Nicholas Sparks fan. I think the stories get too cheesy. The Notebook is one that I didn't mind as much, but the others are just over the top. I don't really understand the obsession with The Notebook - it's good, but it's not THAT good.

I don't like that there isn't ever a happily ever after ending. You want things to end for them well but he never delivers. Nights in Rodanthe tore me up at the end.
