I'm going to flame all the people (and I know some of them may be from off boards) who are writing over other people's KPS submissions or sending in direct rebuttals. Those aren't secrets. Maybe some of the people should have cowboy'd and posted on E or in FFF to begin with, but as lame as that is, RESPONDING in "secret" form is double lame.

I said something to that affect yesterday TJ. It's like secret graffiti. Just make your own that is the opposite if that's what you want to do - but I don't think you should be able to just write over another secret. You can argue a secret, but it's not really fair to deface one when it's someone's legitimate secret.

I just don't get why arguing needs to be done in secret form. WE HAVE A MESSAGE BOARD. If posting a snarky secret is cowardly, responding or building on that secret is unoriginal at best and moronic at worst.

I think it will get better now that the Nest and Bump chicks have their own and can leave ours alone.

I flame the posters who were creating new posts everytime a sad or disturbing KPS was posted - like "whoever posted that, I'm here if you need help". Come on. The odds of that person actually being from E and seeing your post is slim, and the odds that they would take you up on your offer of help is slim, and the odds that you could actually DO anything to help is even slimmer.

I totally agree. Yesterday it made me mad that someone said SAHM's are lazy. But I had no problem saying it here that I think that's crap. Then of course right after I said that someone wrote over that secret and submitted it that it was crap. Way it make it look like it was me whoever did that! Of course that's not a serious example of some of the more messed up ones that are getting argued "secretly"

Oh, there are. But I had to leave the apartment by 6:45 this morning, so I wasn't going to wake up that much earlier just to post them. They'll start going up in about half an hour

ETA: I think the reason people are writing over other secrets as responses has to do with what Dani wrote about the KPS threads - people were probably doing it on there as opposed to on the boards to be sure that the person who created the secret (and everyone else) actually saw it.

I think I'll still get some secrets from Nesties/Bumpies, but the new sites should take care of a lot of them.
