Good morning!!

It's been terribly quiet around here this morning! Everyone must have a hangover.

FI and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night... we're totally addicted to that video poker they have there. And I was having a hankering for parmesean garlic boneless wings. Mmmmmm. And some green beer.

I didn't get to drink any beer last night. All the happy drunks on the street made me jeal.

I also missed an semi-exciting afternoon/evening here while I was off at the doctor's and then at childbirthing class.

They're lucky the food is awesome because I've NEVER had good service at one. Robert and I still go semi-regularly, but the service always sucks.

I've been to the three near where we live, to one in Chapel Hill, and one in S FL.

No fun for me! I went to class, and then I biked home through a sea of drunks, many of whom yelled rude things at me. It was not pleasant.

Tomorrow I'm getting out of this hellhole and going to Gettysburg! So excited.

The one here isn't too bad... but I think it also helps that we've been going to this one so often that all the servers/bartenders/managers know us by name. LOL!

Nothing too exciting last night. We really liked the officiant we met with, though, so we gave him a check and got all of his forms so we're good to go on that and it's nice to not have to worry about that anymore

This morning I woke up and thought, "Man, it's already starting to be light out when I wake up, cool...wait a minute...that's not right..." and yeah, it was definitely the time I was supposed to be leaving for work. Ooops!

That's great about your officiant! :) YAY!

And I've done the light when you're waking up thing. Hahaha. It helps that I'm usually an hour early to work so on the rare occasions I oversleep it's not a big deal. I just usually feel bad for the pups cause it means they don't get morning relaxing time.

Good morning all! We stayed downtown after work yesterday and had a few beers and people watched. It was fun. We were home by 6 though and then I worked in my sewing/craft room on a dress pattern I'm trying. I've never sewn something with a pattern before so I'm nervous about it! I have all the pieces cut out and marked and now I just need to start slowly sewing it together.

The week between Christmas and New Year's I was the only one in the office... I rearranged the order of our mailboxes, swapped everyone's office chairs around, and unscrewed the lightbulbs just enough that they wouldn't turn on. The first half of the day when everyone came back was a whole lot of fun.

Yes, after taxes my raise is $5/week. AND we haven't had raises for two years, so they pumped up our reviews and possible raises. Everyone here is SO pissed. I'd probably be much angrier if I wasn't counting the days until my big move to DH and subsequent new life in a new city.

Morning everyone!

Fun last night...I ran 10 miles and my foot now looks like raw hamburger and feels like it's going to fall off. That wasn't fun, but the espresso chip ice cream afterwards was!

Brie, I've seen your blog before and the blister pictures. Is that normal? It makes me think you need a new pair of shoes, but I don't know anything about running so I could be way off base. It just seems crazy! (and painful!)

Oh gross, Brie. I'm about to walk 10 miles this afternoon. Yay for raw hamburger feet! My sister said putting antiperspirant on your feet helps prevent blisters. Is that right?

I'm counting the minutes before I get to talk to FI. He's been in the field for the last 10 days and so much has happened around here since he left the base, I feel like I've been DYING. It's like waiting for Santa, haha.

Dani, I'm on my 5th or 6th different pair of running shoes in the last 18 months. I've been fitted multiple times and nobody can figure out what's wrong. It's really frustrating because EVERY time I get a new pair of shoes, the trainers are convinced this is going to be the magical solution, and it never is.

Once this wedding crap is over, I'm going to get in to see a podiatrist if my insurance will cover it. It's pretty sucky.

No fun for me last night. I got stuck in a faculty meeting til 9:30 and then went to an intramural softball game. I had so much rage after the meeting that getting drunk and swinging bats and things seemed like the only possible solution.

Tonight will be better, I hope: we got tickets to the NCAA first round in Providence! I just hope I can cheer loudly for the Vols. I somehow came down with bronchitis and laryngitis overnight and feel like death.

Sco, I've never heard of antiperspirant, but I've used Body Glide and other things that are supposed to prevent it. No luck yet!

Morning - we're getting a new AC and furnace - complete with humidifier installed today. The unit we have now is original to the house, built in 68. Yeah. Talk about borrowed time.
We got the state rebates for them (on the wait list for AC) and will get power company rebate as a check - yay us.
J took the nut dog to doggie day camp today, but had to beg. I didn't make a reservation, and they were full. So, he comes home after work. Hopefully too worn out to go nutso.
And oh yeah - snow's coming this weekend.

Morning everyone! I'm freakin' exhausted, even though I did nothing fun last night.

I've had this nasty cough since last week, and it's causing me to be awake all night coughing. I haven't slept more than a couple of hours in the last 4 nights. Pretty sure I'll be useless at work today.
