I don't know, it's Monday I feel like everyone needs a happy pill.

What's something that made you happy today?

I just found out that there is a Despicable Me 2 coming out next year (right before my birthday too!). I am so excited. The first movie is my favorite!

and it's sunny out! FI and I are gonna go running when he gets home.

My good news is FI is finally making some progress on his wedding to-do list. Checking things off the list makes me so happy. I am really starting to get excited about the big day!

Stuff for our welcome bags is starting to come in. We got two packages today in the mail and we should get 5 more this week. My FI is working on the welcome letter as I type.

We are getting both security deposits back in full from our places we moved out of this weekend! This surprises me because of the hair dye stain that I painted over on the bathroom door. It was still pretty noticeable. Yay money though!

FI has been excited about the sequel to Despicable Me for a while now, it's his favorite and I love it too! I got him the special edition complete with inflatable minion for Valentine's Day last year.

I have less than an hour at work and I found some coupons for the Tux rental place for $40 off each GM rental and....*drumroll please*

FREE GROOMS RENTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a calendar last night of everything that needs to get done, with deadlines. And it's all totally do-able! So no more freaking out for me...hopefully!

...and the sun is out today. 1,000 bonus points for Monday.

Free is always fantastic. I knew that Mens Wearhouse did that, but I was worried about the smaller local place FI wanted. No need to now that I decided to investigate their website. :)

Allie, your post reminded me that in church on Sunday, my assistant pastor assigned 5 points to Gryffendor (sp?) because people started saying Good Morning to her outloud before she did. It was hilarious.

And....The Lumberjack Song just came on my Pandora. :)

Exactly! Between the two deposits plus the few days of prorated rent in each place, we should be getting almost $1,000 back. And it's going straight into the wedding fund.

We knocked out a bunch of pie favors yesterday (33)!! So I'm glad we are about halfway done with those. I'm hoping to finish the guest list with FI tonight so we can start assembling invites in 2 weeks. Mom has to be quarantined in the basement next week so she is printing all the invites and inserts.

So not really good news, but it did make me laugh-

I was in PT for a sprained ankle over 18 months ago, and only just now have they billed me for my last 2 copays.

So I received this bill last Thursday, and promptly paid it online, so it goes through ASAP. Today, I got a letter from them dated LAST THURSDAY, the same day I RECEIVED the bill, telling me that if I don't pay up IMMEDIATELY they are going to send my accounts to a collection agency blah blah.

Even if I'd gotten the threat letter the day after it was sent, it was still SENT the same day I got the bill! I've paid everything, so I'm not worried about it, but hey - at least it's all funding our postal service, right?

My mom's interview went great! Another step in the right direction for her.
Her getting a job relieves A LOT of stress from us as we have been supporting her in any way we can. As I am her landlord, most of the burden has come on FI & myself and not really on my 3 brothers.

Nothing to exciting here. My day has been good so far. Fi doesn't close at work tonight so I'm making dinner for him. Lemon Dill chicken in pita with Taziki, Tomato, cucumber salad and rice pilaf.

As most of you saw from our facebook page we entered a contest for a free canvas wrap and so far we are in the lead. So thanks to all who voted so far.

My Lucy kitty wanted cuddles this morning. She is slowly forgiving us for having to force feed her antibiotics every morning. Starting the day with a purring cat is always nice. And dinner tonight will be yummy Yaki soba noodles. Tomorrow will be our favorite salmon dinner. Weds will be sinigang! That always makes me happy.

FI was excited for this as well. He's out of town for work this week so he's [more than likely] in his hotel room watching and I'm watching it at home; except I missed the first 15 laps since I work until 6 which was the start time here.

My exciting news was my computer is fixed!! AND sooner than they quoted! I gave the guy the go ahead on Friday afternoon and he had told me he would probably get the part Tuesday or Wednesday and it would take another day or two to install so I was assuming I would have it by the weekend. So when they called me late this morning I was ecstatic!

We're in a blizzard watch through Wednesday and now I'm hoping to get snowed in so I can catch up on some wedding details after not having my computer for 2 weeks!
