I have to be honest. I think that maybe AATB is telling the truth. After some of her other statements (i.e. Norwegians), I think she really is just an idiot. It's pretty obvious DALJ is an AE of someone, but I don't think it's AATB anymore.

I really don't care who DALJ is, but these 2 threads definitely made my day a little brighter. I do think DALJ is an AE but I agree that I'm starting to think it's not AATB, mostly because I don't see why she would create one. But then, I dont know why anyone would bother.

That being said, I will still think AATB every time I see DALJ post.

Anyway - damaless in the E thread explained it the best. I just misunderstood the post. I don't go online on the weekends so I didn't even know who this person was.

I truly am Norwegian and I'm also truly sorry if I offended anyone with that Norwegian comment. I mean, I grew up in the Norwegian family who always made the stupid Norwegian jokes, and told the Ole and Lena stories - they're stereotypes and of course they aren't true, but I was a dumbass and thought I'd poke some fun at myself with a little self-depracating comment. My bad.

I know I can't win in this situation so that's why I'm going to just ignore it from now on - I can't believe what a crap storm this is. I'm really trying to not be rude or anything - this was all a huge, stupid misunderstanding and I'm choosing to forget about it. I like you girls so I'd like to hang around some more if you don't mind. I can take a joke so if you want to tease me about my alleged AE - I won't stop you. Just watch the mouth on that girl though, she seems a little punchy.

Eh, I know Norwegian folks who make the same kind of jokes. Kind of like some Polish people love Polish jokes and some are offended by them.

I thought it was a self-deprecating comment in that tradition, but you should really know your audience before busting out the "I'm a Norwegian, so I can say Norwegians are dumb" humor. Apparently, some people are not amused.
