Parking for a center city wedding

Hi Everyone,
I will be renting a school bus to take everyone from hotel to church to reception so no one has to drive, park, repark in center city.  I will be putting on my website that everyone should park near the hotel since that is where the pick ups will be.  However, the hotel does not have their own parking lot.  They only offer an expensive $45/day valet.  I'm trying to find other Phila parking garages/lots nearby that I can direct people to.  The hotel is Courtyard by Marriott on 21 N Juniper Street, across from city hall.  Does anyone know about any parking areas around there and how I can find out information about their rates without having to drive down there myself?  :)  Thanks to anyone with any advice!

    The Wanamaker Building (where Macy's is) has parking for $28/day.  Still expensive, but cheaper than $45 and still pretty close.

    Sometimes you can make a deal with the small parking lots in CC.  It's worth a shot.  Is the $45/day included in the room fee at the Marriot?  If yes, I'd say that's only a little over the normal rate for parking when staying at a hotel in the city.

    Good to know about the cost of the Wanamaker Building cost, I'll add it to my website...thanks!  The $45/day is not included in the room fee thankfully.  They tried to say it's a better deal b/c there is unlimited in and out per day.  Since we're having the bus that won't really matter though.  Maybe it will be worth to talk to the owners of the small lots but I'll have to figure out how to do that.

    My wedding planner took care of this, but here are the details that I know - we reserved 40 spots for 9$ a spot at the parking lot on 20th & Chestnut since it was behind our venue.  The lot is run by EZ Park and their website is: 


    Maybe give them a call and see if you can work something out for a lot closer to your shuttle/venue/church?  We emailed all of our OOT guests that were driving a parking voucher to give to the attendant.  I think there was also an option of a reduced price if you didn't pay up front and your guests paid when they arrived at the lot.  Might be worth looking in to!
