I'll never feel bad about Target underpants again.

Sometimes I feel a little bit of shame knowing that I'm wearing Hanes from a Target 3-pack while other women manage to amass such a collection of pretty, dainty, sexy underpants.

Today, however, I feel a little bit better about my plastic-wrapped underpants packages.

Apparently, most major stores retag and put returned underpants out on the floor to sell, immediately after getting them back in a return - EVEN if all the tags are gone, even if it's obvious that they've been worn - even after the undercover investigation people stained them with baby oil - right back out on the floor.

Ew ew ew.
On bed rest since Groundhog's Day and every day since has been exactly the same.

  • Euw that's gross. You generally can't return underwear at most places around here, tags on or not.

  • Ew.  So glad I wash everything before I wear it.
  • gross. I would never think of trying underwear on. GROSS GROSS GROSS. And I HATE bathing suit shopping, even if you do leave your undies on, it's still nasy gross. I too wash everything before I wear it. Unless you know...I spill something on myself and go to WalMart to buy a sweater to get me through the day.

  • I also don't try underwear on. Even at  stores where they're not pre-packaged. If I buy it and I get it home and it doesn't fit or look good, well, my dumb move.

Exactly this!  My sisters and I will swap sometimes if we buy the wrong size (before it's worn), NOT return it!!!!

[QUOTE]I've returned a bra to Victoria's Secret before.  I know it's not the same as underwear, but I'm just saying.

I have too, because I bought about 6 bras and accidentally grabbed one that was tghe wrong size. So it was an even exchange.

  • My cousin and I once went to Old Navy and we were looking at the bathing suits, well there was a white crusty looking stain on one of the bathing suit bottoms.. I still cringe at that though.
