We put a train around the bottom of our Christmas tree (The Polar Express) and the dog doesn't like the noise so it keeps her away from the tree. Genius!

I think I'm one of the few who don't mind wall o' texts, as long as they are from posters I know (I'm not reading a newb's wall o' text unless it's filled with drama that interests me, or I'm bored). But then again, I am wordy too (shocking, I know) so I can't say anything about others.

But I'm also in the "delete half of what I write" camp.

I usually like links to interesting news articles, so I don't have a complaint there. If you don't like it, don't open it -- that's the way I see it.

The one thing I do find a bit obnoxious about those kind of posts, is if the only comment from the OP is "thoughts?". Like --- you're waiting to see what everyone else's opinion is before you post your own. If you have an opinion, just say so in the OP.
