Two full sleeves, several pieces on his legs and sides... he got Jack Skellington (from Nightmare Before Christmas) to cover a burn-scar he has. It actually looks awesome... still can't believe he did it though. haha

One time I was watching dr Phil, and the show was about overbearing grandparents. This couple resented the grandmother of their kid so much (don't remember whose mother she was) and it stemmed from pretty much the moment the baby was born. The mother was holding the new baby, and went to hand the baby off to dad. Grandma jumped in between and grabbed the baby first. Dr. Phil explained to her how she ruined a really intimate family moment that they will never get back, and her excuse was that the mother almost dropped the baby and she had to catch him.

This is probably why FSIL (who is due in July) has already made it clear that it won't be anyone but her and her H (and the docs/nurses) in the room with her. We're all welcome in the waiting room, though! LOL.

My parents and I were all in the room pretty much the whole time while SIL labored, but not while she delivered. The nurse kicked us out when it was time to push. That's probably how I'll be too when the time comes, because if I have to be layed up in a bed for a million hours in all kinds of pain, I'm probably going to want some distraction other than H.

I labored the whole time with just H. We didn't have any visitors until 8:30 Saturday morning. But then again we got to the hospital at 8:30pm. One of my friends was going to come but her babysitter didn't show up and she wasn't able to get there.

From the time the contractions started it was about 17 hours. From the time they put the cervidil in at 10pm, which wasn't necessary according to the on call doctor, it was 6 hours 24 minutes.
