I was trying to find the pictures from the eBay ad but it's been a few years since we bought it. It basically looks just like this but with the stock rims and bigger tires in the back. Mine also has my Minnie princess antenna ball.

Kat, I think your car totally suits your personality.

Mutley, sometimes I wish I had a utility car as a second car. Both BF and I have small cars, so it's hard to do errands like picking up our barbecue grill when we bought it. Furniture is out of the question. With all your home improvements, it's necessary!

I'll put BF's car, too as I technically own half. He's on my title, I'm on his. Can't find a picture that looks like BF's car - I forget what year it is, and it's always dirty, dented, with a cracked windshield or missing window (he just never gets around to fixing these things). My current car:

2001/2 (not sure which, to be honest) Honda Civic EX. It was great when I was living in OH, but now that I'm in SoFL, it's like a friggin death trap. A stiff wind could blow it over, let alone a sh*tty SoFL driver. Gets great gas mileage though.

New Car:

2007 Mercury Mariner. I'll admit, I will feel a hell of a lot more comfortable driving around SoFL is this car than I do my current car. It will also be a lot better for us in terms of hauling dive gear/research equipment/dogs/future spawn. Not too great of a difference in gas mileage either and a super smooth ride.

Ekath- I have to sit really close to get the clutch all the way in and I wind up practically breaking my knee cap everytime I get into the thing. And that car is the like the princess and the pea. You can put a bag of groceries in it. Have fun driving that across DC, dude.

I want a new one, but am cheap and feeling a little BSC right now.

Kathleen, that made me laugh. DH brought the Audi into the relationship... and even he didn't pick it out. He cosigned for his best friend, who promptly had to return to England and DH got the car. I had a civic, almost exactly like Loopy's but we sold it to get the truck.

And Kat, I must be slow today because I didn't see that until now.

I wanted my car to be a manual. Like really really bad. Only they didn't have any left (in an appropriate color) unless I wanted to downgrade and have less features. No thanks, I would rather have my sunroof and steering wheel controls than a stick. Oh well.
