Okay, there have been so many engagement announcements over the holidays, so I'm wondering who's still NEY? Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for everyone who finally is engaged , but who is still waiting like me?? haha.
Me too. My bf and I talked about doing it this past month, but decided to wait about another year before he puts a ring on it. I'm slightly disappointed, but I know it's a good decision for us.

Still here, though it might not be long. We've been ring shopping, and we've picked the one. No idea whether its bought and paid for, though if it is, its probably being made. Trying to not think about it.

I'm in an awkard stage... We agree that we are engaged (He tried to say we were unofficially engaged, and I had to explain that it was an oxymoron). Our parents and siblings know we are. But, we are waiting until he gives me the ring to announce it to the world for a couple of different reasons. And he has bought the ring (yes, I've had to stare at the ring box now for multiple weeks) but he is still working on the perfect proposal (is there really such a thing?).

Isn't it awful? He showed it to me after he purchased it (we had already agreed on the engagement). Then I came to visit, and the ring was sitting on the table. Now he feels like because I already know he bought it, he doesn't need to hide it. So, I've seen it, but I haven't tried it on since we were at the jeweler. Now he feels like he needs to plan a storybook proposal so that I have a "good" proposal story. He keeps telling me that he's always dreamed of the perfect proposal, like a girl dreams about the perfect wedding.
Ember that's really cute, but it would drive me crazy! haha. I told my bf that the proposal is completely up to him, but if he put the ring in plain sight I'm not sure I'd let him have it his way.
Hahaha... I was a good girl and tried to have lots of patience the first week that I visited. I thought for sure he would give it to me over the holidays. But, after a discussion about it this weekend, he told me that he felt like a holiday engagement wasn't really our style. So, I'll continue to wait. Although I did tell him that I thought the perfect storybook proposal was that he could FedEx it to my house He didn't agree.
I told my bf that any way he proposed to me would be romantic so he didn't need to worry about it too much since it was romantic enough for him to be giving me a ring and telling me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. (Can you tell I'm hoping that'll make it come sooner? haha I'm so impatient!)
Hahaha. Yeah, I've tried that line also. And the worst part is that we agree that we are engaged. And we have started looking at venues, picked a date, and so on. And I can't tell anyone about it, other than my family.

Although I've been informed that it will be before the end of this upcoming year, which is exciting and nerve-wrecking!
