nay1984 - I love the top on your dress! I tried on a dress with a top like that and I hated everything but the top, haha.

clovester - I almost bought a fitted dress, too! It's surprising how flattering they can be!

Here's my dress! It just came in the other day (exciting!). I love it because it's light and gorgeous and has very subtle polka dots on the skirt.

@spunky414 that s a gorgeous dress!! Who s the designer? Well am going for my first scouting appt next Thursday. Am nervous...a lot of you ladies have your dresses. I feel sooo behind. I can't believe how fast Time is FLYING! When dd we get under 11 months? Sighs.

@rmasoka it's Alfred Angelo style 2314. I had tried on a very similar Alfred Angelo dress (style 2100) at a small local bridal salon the day but didn't love the top, and I'm so happy to have found the dress I bought. It was also totally different than the style of dress I thought I'd like and I had an absolutely awful experience with Davids Bridal the day before.

I don't have a picture of me in the dress because I ended up buying at a store that didn't have a sample (tried it on at one store, didn't like that store, found out one of the stores I liked could still order).

It's a mermaid style which I never thought I would wear, but it's perfect. It was the first dress I tred on in the first store and was the dress all others were compared to at the rest of my appointments.

I didn't want to take it off and I can't wait until it arrives in September!

My dress, I dont know why I'm doing that with my hands.

The picture doesnt do it justice, the material looks MUCH better in person, so does the mid section & its much poofier as well (more inbetween ball gown and a line but definitely closer to aline than ball gown), it just is flat cause its been in a bag and shoved into shelves.

Either way i love it, ignore how I look haha

Here is my dress, I just found it last Thursday and of course it is not listed on the DaVinci website, but I did get pictures

On it is very fitted and I will be adding a one-shoulder strap that will be made with tulle and some of the beads from the dress. I love the pseudo old fashioned buttons on the back too (it's actually

a zipper).

Hi everyone!!

Ya'll look so beautiful and the dresses are so pretty!!

I got mine this past week, my MOH flew in from Cali and we went shopping. It was so fun!! I thought I wanted a keyhole back, but tried this one on and just felt so beautiful. Haha. i started walking in it and saw the train behind me in the mirror and burst into tears!

It was so right.

This one was a little too big for me when I tried it on but it will be perfect for my outdoor, garden/lake ceremony. The fabric is taffeta but it's not one of those loud taffetas...nice and airy so I'll keep cool in Carolina ;-)

got it over a year ago as it was being discontinued. got a great price. tried on many dresses and narrowed it down to this and a few others, liked this one the best but never had that "omg this is the ONE!! omg!!11 squeee" moment... had a moment when i found the veil though
