Good morning, E!!

Re: Good morning, E!!

• My sister was a stripper . . . . AFTER she had a kid, and didn't fare well in the body recovery department.  I'm amazed at how much money she'd still bring home.  She was also on Jerry Springer.  HEY AMrs - there you go - go on Jerry Springer, you could make a couple hundred bucks quick that way.  ;)
• Hello there.  I was just getting ready to bike into town to get some new face wash, but I can see clouds rolling in that look dark and ominous even though i've still got some great sunshine right here, I think I'll wait it out for a bit.

I had a lot of fun on our wedding day.  I think it helped taking hours of photos before hand, and also just spending the day with H.  We woke up together, he dropped me off at my hair appointment and picked me up.  Drove up to the site together....  I really never thought about the money aspect because we were just happy to see our friends and family.  Plus, we knew we'd done what we wanted, and that was helpful too. I remember every bit of the ceremony. :D
• Good morning!  It's rainy and icky out today, so I guess I'm glad yesterday was my day off.  Shouldn't be a terrible day at work, so that is promising.

• Haha Amoro, the other memory that sticks out from the ceremony was squeezing H's hand. After the rehearsal, he was so afraid he was going to forget when we had to get up from our seats (Catholic ceremony; lots of up and down haha), when we had to walk to the front, when we had to do this and that... I promised him we would hold hands the whole time and I would squeeze his hand when it was time to do something. :)
• Yeah, I'm more like Amoro. It all felt real, I remember all of the ceremony and it was fantastic. Didn't really go by in a blur either. The only time I thought about money was when H's dad's girlfriend was having like her 5th glass of wine. We had a consumption bar (we paid by the glass) and she is the one that brought the bill up. But I still can't complain, it was only like $150 for our entire alcohol bill. :D
Haha LVB, yeah that's not something your parents need to hear from their friends. LOL! My sister keeps trying to get me to do amateur night with her... we're 2 years separate but we look like twins. I. Just. Can't.
Posted by akhensley81
But LVB your parents wouldn't have ever found out.  Imagine that conversation "so, hey I was a the strip club last night and saw..."  I'm sure men old enough to have college age kids don't go around bragging they were at a strip club.
In Response to Re: Good morning, E!! : I'd show my boobs for $30 bucks an hour.  I mean, I wouldn't have to look at them all day.  I can't promise people would enjoy them, but I'd show 'em.

I make more than that now, but I think it would be a little easier to just take off my shirt.

• Good morning.

I'm in desperate need for work right now, more out of boredom than anything else.  I wouldn't be opposed to $30/hour to be topless, but H probably would.  And anybody who isn't a fan of the itty bitty titty club.

I really need to start cleaning the apartment for our final walk through next week.  We were given a list with how much everything costs if its not clean.  The microwave and oven each cost $25 out of our security deposit if they aren't clean.  I've been looking at both, and definitely have come to the conclusion that $50 is well worth me not having to clean them.

• Our wedding was definitely over before we knew it.  I remember a lot of the ceremony, but also remember thinking that I would forget when to get up and down and do the unity candle and what not.  It all went fine though.  The reception went by so fast, but we were able to do what we wanted and really enjoyed all of it.  Looking back though its funny because a lot of it is a blur and I couldn't tell you who I was on the dance floor with or around.  I feel like theres people I never spent any time with, but then I looked at pictures and I was dancing right next to them.  It still feels like just a huge party that we threw for everyone, and sometimes I still forget that we are married already.

• I found that paying $150 for a move out clean from a maid service is well worth the money.  And the bonus is, if the landlord comes back and says something wasn't clean enough, you get to go back to the maid service and have them fix it, or get some money back.

• We actually looked into that, but all of the ones we saw were way more expensive than that.  Our complex though has been remodeling all of the townhouses, and ours is going to be completely gutted after we move out.  They are redoiing the kitchen, bathrooms, carpets, and they need to paint all the walls.  So we just need to do a general cleaning on everything, so its not worth paying for the cleaning service.

• Hmm, the DC area prices are probably lower because of the volume.  They had 6 people come in and they were done and gone in 45 minutes.

• Happy Humper, ladies!

Still loving my South Beach bars. So far, they've made me feel full through lunch. Hopefully today will be more of the same. I don't have much to do today, so I'll be looking busy. My H is home today and said he'd clean the house, so we'll see what that means when I get home.

I don't remember half of our reception.  Oops.  I only had a couple glasses of wine, so it's not like I was drunk.  The whole day just was so rushed and went by so fast.  I really wish we had had a small gap between the ceremony and reception.

• KJB - we had a gap and it still was rushed.  We were in a back room for our cocktail party and used that time to eat some appetizers and freshen up.  So we definitely had some time to unwind a bit before it all started again, and our reception was still a blur.  But it was definitely a great time and I know we enjoyed every minute of it, regardless of if I can remember it or not.  And sadly, I wasn't drunk either to say I don't remember it, I think it was just an overwhelmingly busy day.  I have never been so physically and mentally drained as I was at the end of my wedding day.

• TR, this morning I ate a South Beach Living Protein Fit Cinnamon Raisin cereal bar. I also bought the Chocolate Berry, but they're not nearly as good as the cinnamon ones. They also have PB, but I don't consider that a morning flavor. The cinnamon ones have cream cheese icing.
• How is peanut butter not a morning flavor, ya nutter butter?

• I can't name any foods containing PB that I eat in the morning. I don't like PB cereals, and I try not to eat Reese's cups before 11am if I can help it.

My dad puts PB and syrup on his pancakes, so he considers PB a morning flavor.

I consider it a lunch/ afternoon snack flavor. Unless I was protein-loading, I guess, then I would probably just eat spoonfuls of PB for breakfast.

• I think of PB as a breakfast item.  I eat it more on toast than I eat it at any other time of day.  Peanut butter Fiber One granola bars are one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast.  That, or Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch.

• Don't even get me started on Fiber One bars. I WISH I could eat Fiber One bars for breakfast (not PB flavored, though).
• They are so good.  But definitely can be dangerous.  H learned the hard way when day when he ate 3 in one day and then went running in the park the next morning.  Hahaha, sorry thats kinda gross, but I thought it was hilarious.  I warned him when he grabbed the second one.

• LovetheBeach, we are getting married on the same day, no? 9/18? I feel  much like you right now. It is all very surreal.

I'm still trying to wake up and I have to leave in 15 minutes to pick up my carpool buddy. Gah.
