Lets talk about weddings....

Ok, I stole this from TN. I have changed a few things. So tell me:

How long have you been married? 5 1/2 months

Did your BM's all wear the same dress and accessories? Dress? Yes. Accessories? No, they chose their own jewelry and shoes.

Did your BM's have their hair/make-up done a certain way? No If so, who paid for it? My sister and one BM paid to have their hair done with me, others styled on their own.

Did your wedding dress have sleeves? No, it had very thin straps. Did you wear gloves? No.

Did you accessorize with anything fun? I had bobby pins with blue pearls on the end for my something blue, but that's about as "fun" as it got.

How long have you been married? almost 2 months

Did your BM's all wear the same dress and accessories? no, same color, different styles and different accessories

Did your BM's have their hair/make-up done a certain way? nope, one had an updo, one half up/half down and the other's was so short it just was. If so, who paid for it? they paid for their hair and makeup if they wanted it done. One of my girls just did everything herself and she looked just as beautiful

Did your wedding dress have sleeves? It had straps, but not sleeves. Did you wear gloves? nope.

Did you accessorize with anything fun? I had three little ivory flowers in my hair, but that's pretty commonplace now, haha. I really liked the right hand ring I wore:

Andress - I can't believe it's been a year! I was talking about the snow in October and your wedding yesterday - I didn't remember it being this early!

I lurve it. It's pretty big, though, so it's kind of a pain in the ass to wear, haha.

Did your BM's all wear the same dress and accessories? Nope. I gave them a color and told them to do what they wanted. One wore shoes of mine (hers broke the day before) and another wore jewelry from my house (she forgot hers in FL)

Did your BM's have their hair/make-up done a certain way? If so, who paid for it?
We all did our own and I thought we looked quite fabulous.

Did your wedding dress have sleeves? Did you wear gloves? I wore the fingerless ones. They looked fantastic in the bridal shop because they perfectly fit my arms. The ones I purchased were too big and looked awkward. I wore them for the ceremony / formals to make mom happy then took them off for the rest of the night.

Did you accessorize with anything fun? I had a USMC garter and actually had sewed little jewels onto my gown as part of the bustle. It made it very me and my friends loved it. I also think my veil was my favorite accessory. It had red for luck as well as to celebrate the blood stripe on H's pants
I also had my mil's heirloom bridal hankie. It had been worn by the women in her family for as far back as 1930. We also used H's father's USMC saber to cut the cake. Sil also used it 10 years before at her wedding.
