Hello. I'm a lurker but I tend to post on the boards from time to time. Who else is on tonight? Does anyone have exciting plans? I'm planning to stay in and maybe watch a movie a bit later.

I'm working, then going home to help take care of / hang out with my friends 15 year old daughter who has Mono..

Then FI should be home around midnight, and we get to go straight to bed, because we both work in the morning! Whoot.

What movie you thinking of? I just watched Killers last night. It was, meh.

Hey! Sounds like you have a busy night ahead. Isn't mono contagious?? What do you do for work?

I'm not sure yet what movie. We have Netflix so i'll probably browse through the psychological or foreign horrors. I've seen most though- Just waiting for FI to finish putting together some furniture for his brother.. this may take a while!

Mono is contagious, but I'm not too worried about it.. Lol. I probably won't be spending TOO much time with her, but her mom (my friend) is exhausted. She has 3 kids, and 1foster daughter, so dealing with all this crap is draining her.. Haha..

I LOVE horror films, but FI isn't too into them, and neither are my friends, so I end up watching most of them alone, and then freaking myself out.. Haha.

I'm staying home. I worked closing last night and opening this morning (in retail, no less) so I'm exhausted. FI made pot roast, and mashed potatoes for dinner, so now I'm full and sleepy!

Cupcake- you sound like a great friend to have! I do the same thing too with horror movies. If I watch them with FI, i'm usually not scared but when I watch them alone, I freak out. Which are your favorite ones?

See what lost it for me from Drag Me To Hell, was when the Old Lady started gumming the main characters chin.. Umm... WHAT?!?!?!

katiewhompus, I'm with you! I've actually had nightmares just from reading plot summaries of horror movies! The only one I've seen is White Noise, which was incredibly bad, but still freaked me out.

I'm kind of here. I used Quicken when I was in the states and am now trying to adapt to Quicken for Australia. Knew how to transfer money to "savings goals" can;t figure out how to do OZ's version of transfering money to "roll over reserves".
I have a love/hate relationship with this software.

No scary movies for this on. I saw Mothman and walked through the house turning on everylight betwen the living room and bedroom. Then went back to Living room and turned off the lights behind me as I went. Still slept with the bedroom light on.

Cupcake- the fight in the car was pretty stupid too. There seems to be more bad horror movies made than good ones.

OOH, I liked Mirrors too..

I'm obsessed with Jensen Ackles right now, so I've been watching all his stuff.. Only one episode freaked me out. The C-word one. FI finished watching it, and I locked myself in the bedroom with my headphones, and a sappy girly book until it was over..

I can't for the life of me think of the name of it, but it was one (fairly recent, in the last 5 years) with young folk going out into the woods and there turns out to be three killer red-neck imbred men that are after them? That was pretty freakin' horrible. Help me remember the name!

I still have nightmares about It, and Pet Cemetary has scarred me for life.

It doesn't help that my ex was a horror film junkie. I will never forgive him for making me watch them with him constantly. I remember one, I think Devil's Rejects, that scared the living fvck out of me for a long time.

The only really scary movie I can think of that I liked was Zodiac. I guess it's more suspense than horror, but it was SO good!

The Grudge, Hills Have Eyes, Dog Soldiers all freaked me out. I couldn't sleep through the night after those movies.

I completely forgot about Black Dahlia! That was really good, too- and I'm not-so-secretly in love with Aaron Eckhart, which made it that much better.

I love horror movies. They never freak me out, unless there's clowns *shudders*. Signs, The Grudge, and Paranormal Activity kept me up for weeks though. I'm not sure why either. Paranormal Activity I think it's because the moment the movie ended (we watched the original version...not the one in theatres at all) there was banging on the walls. I'm assuming it was my neighbours but it freaked the shiiit out of me.

I don't get the clown thing either. Maybe because I've never seen any creepy clown movies? I just don't see anything inherently scary there...

I have no idea why I'm scared of them. I was rollerblading home once and this freaking woman in her car stopped on the sidewalk (she was backing out). I look up and she's dressed as a clown. I nearly fainted. That happened last year XD.
I was also working once on Easter weekend. There was a blizzard so they cancelled the Easter egg hunt for the kids in the park. So the clown and the easter bunny came into the store and handed me chocolate to give out and the clown gave me a pinwheel to play with :S. I wanted to cry.

I had a nightmare about Bozo the clown when I was like 4. But I was afraid of them before that. They are creeeeppyyyy.
