  Friends of ours had their wedding in Denver and used a photographer from Pennsylvania: www.michaelminnig.com They were a husband and wife team that apparently waived their travel fees for the opportunity to shoot a wedding in Colorado. I thought their work was incredible and I know she only had great things to say about working with them.

  Do NOT use Katherine Emily Photography, whatever you do. She used to operate under "Kate Nickel Photography" and if you visit forabetterwedding.com you can see all of the brides she has scammed including myself. I wish I had found out about McBoat Photography, who my friend used. They are amazing, take gorgeous photos and very reasonably priced: www.mcboatphotography.com.

  My photographer is from Colorado, but lives here in CT.  She is traveling back to Colorado in Sept, check her out.  I know she waives her travel fees because she has a home there and is back there quite often!!!  She will do any package and customize it for a bride.  She has done TONS of Colorado weddings.  www.photographybyjl.com

  I am going with Anginet Photography for my wedding in May 2011. She loves customizing photos so that they personalize tp you as a couple. I know this not just because I have met with her professionally, but because she is a friend of mine. I have LOTS of her work, and wouldn't ever think of chosing anyone else.
