Registries at Home Improvement Stores?

We really want to register at a place like Home Depot, Lowes, Mendards, Fleet Farm, etc.  But do any of them have wedding registries?

I've heard of people going through Home Depot or Lowes, but I have not personally looked into this. Perhaps give your local one a call?

    Sorry I couldn't help more!

We registered at Menards and it was easy.  My fav present from there...a ladder!

A friend of mine just put 'Home Depot Gift Cards' on her list of registries and ended up with a good chunk of money to use towards their new hardwood floors. Thought it was neat so I might do the same!

We registered at Sears - mostly for their tool selection.  :)

I've heard HD does registries that are local at each store but there no way to access it online or anything.

<div>Yep yep. But as I understand it, if you register at one HD and someone tries to pull your registry at a different HD, they won't be able to access your registry.</div>

I can't believe HD hasn't jumped on the registry bandwagon?  That's just craziness and a loss of business for them.  I know my FI will be disappointed about this, but at least there is still Sears.  Thanks for the info Beka.

Question, do you guys think it would be weird to register for a garbage disposal!?

We are in desperate need of a replacement and honestly it is one of the only things we actually "need" for our kitchen.  Our old one is broken and we have to manually turn the blades under the sink for the drain to clear...it is just kind of pathetic really.
