Habs or Eagles, start us off then! I'm all for having an interesting day here. Work promises to be pretty boring, and I have plans this afternoon with a friend so I'm really itching to get out of here.
Habs, I get pretty bad cramps for like the first 24 hours of my period and I've been wondering what I can eat/not eat to help that. I already don't really do soy and my diary consumption is only cheese, no milk or yogurt or anything. I drink way too much caffeine though.
And guys, taking your temp once a day is not harder than taking a pill once a day.
Anna - I have a friend who knows crazy stuff about food, and she had some ideas for me to eat around my time so I can avoid cramps. I'll get that list again and let you know.

Professor, I'm interested in what you do so that you don't have to wake up everyday. I just keep my alarm set for 6:40 everyday and on the weekends I go back to sleep. It doesn't usually bother me, but I'm interested in alternatives.
Habs - don't even get me started. I was bleeding every time we had sex for a while (including really badly on our wedding night, which makes me wonder if the hotel staff thought that I was a virgin). So I changed pills. Well the new pill stopped the bleeding, but now my boobs hurt the week before. And then I started bleeding at the wrong time last month. I called my BFF and just screamed "I'M BLEEDING AND I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE!!"
Being a woman is so freaking frustrating sometime. I keep dreaming of when I go of BC. We'll probably TTC sometime in the not so distant future. Sounds like heaven compared to ridiculous BC stuff.
July - what is your venue? Hillbrook? I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.
I have an easier time taking my temp every morning, than I did remembering to take a pill every day. Like Anna - on the weekends or days off, I just go back to sleep. My thermometer recalls the last temp, so I don't even have to record it right away, just stick it in my mouth until it beeps and then put it back on the nightstand until I get up for real.

Anna, I use Billings, which records fluid only. You just sort of pay attention to the sensations and what you see and record that each night. On dry days pre-ovulation, you're good to go, so to speak. At first I was turned off because there are these stickers that you're supposed to use each day to represent what kind of day you had, but I downloaded an app that lets me record everything like that. Much more convenient, especially for travelling. We found a class through our diocese and took it.
July - awesome. can I come? i want to see what being a guest there is like LOL. .
They were absolutely amazing. I wrote a few reviews of the ceremony and stuff in my blog in... November 2010 I think. They were great to work with and seriously, everything surpassed my expectations. I thought the food for 100 people the night of our wedding was better than the food for just H and I for our tasting HA!
I'm really excited because they just expanded their outdoor terrace above the tea house and it looks beautiful! I've been really impressed with the updates they've done recently.
Good god I hope there are no Travelers employees in here. The service center is driving me fucking nuts. It would be nice if they would actually read my goddamn emails.

I frequently get so sick I vomit and black out. It's hard to be completely non-funtional for 1-2 days a month.
