Re: PIP your bm dresses

  • I'm going to let my BM's choose their own.  The only guidelines are cocktail length and yellow.  Yellow is one of those colors that I think actually looks good together in slightly different shades, so I don't care if their shades or fabrics match.  Then I'll probably have them all wear black or white shoes of their choice.

My sister that just got married this past April chose a designer, line and color and let us choose our style.  All of our dresses were from the Mori Lee Affairs collection in red chiffon:

  • i was MOH in my sister's wedding April 2008. we all wore the shade of apple red from davids. we all had to have long satin dresses. and the rule was they all had to be different, and davids kept track of that, and it wasnt a problem really.

in this photo, im the one to the brides immediate left. my dress had optional detachable straps. i put them on and they were SO LONG my grandma sewed them so it crossed in the back, which was kind of cool. i ended up donating my dress to some charity that provides dresses for military wives for their annual ball. my dad was Army and my BIL is Air Force.

this is my bridesmaids dresses. my bridesmaids are wearing it in watermelon, and my MOH/my sister is wearing it in clover. it looks soooooooo good on all of them, and it comes with detachable straps for the reception. the stock photo does not do it justice at all.
