Dont want to get too mushy here, but within a few weeks of meeting FI we became pretty serious (I was about to move to Colorado -- we made the decision that we were going to have a serious relationship so I decided to stay in the northeast). He said to me "When you know, you know. And I just know". I think from that night on I knew he was different and that we'd end up getting married. Sometimes people find the right person early on and sometimes it takes a little longer. Doesnt mean you're any more or less equipped to have a happy marriage in my opinion.

FI & I will both be 27 when we get married. Crazy thinking that we met when we were both 18!

Lately in the car I have been listening to the CD he made me for Valentine's Day of 2004. Where has the time gone?!

I am 30 now and will be 31 when we get married. FI will be 36. I never wanted to get married young as my parents married when they were 35. I knew I wanted to wait until I was in my 30's to tie the knot. We will be together 6 1/2 years when we walk down the aisle.

I, too, am happy there are more 30-year-olds in this bunch. I'm 30 now, and will be 31 at the time of the wedding. I definitely thought I'd be married at 26-27-28.

I'm 31 and will still be that when we marry; I kinda never thought I would ever get married (no real interest when I was younger) so for me to a) be doing it and b) this age is weird, but good. I'm glad I didn't marry some of my special exes *sarcasm*

My FI will still be 25 when we marry, turning 26 just after.

Courtney I'm right there with you.I am 36 now and will be just a couple of months away from my 37th by my wedding. My oldest son will be 15 by the time I get married and will be the one to walk me down the aisle. But I am marrying a younger man, he will be 32 when we marry

I'm 31 but will turn 32 in May... the FI bday is 5 days after the wedding. He will turn 32 as well. So glad that I waited, I got to enjoy everything in my 20s without kids and hubby. Now I'm officially ready!!

alyssa, i get told that i look young all the time. last week when i was getting my eyebrows waxed the lady asked if i was in highschool. and i get carded going to R rated movies. i'm nervous that when i talk to vendors and stuff they don't take me seriously because i look like i'm 16 or something.

FWIW, i met Dan when i was 15 (he was 16), and we started dating when i was 18 (he was 19). so i've known him for 8 years now!

Another one too old for the poll.

I'm 38 & fi is 41; we'll be 39 & 42 on our wedding day (and will be TTC upon return from the honeymoon. Or on the honeymoon.)! First marriage for both of us (tho I was in a 9-year relationship from early 20s to early 30s), and no kids for either of us yet!
