Favorite ice cream: Peanut butter fudge. Yum. Also, Phish food. Super yum.
Trend you think is stupid: Leggings as pants
Favorite movie (only pick one!): Juno
    Current job: 5th grade teacher
Dream job: I love working with kids but I have a special place in my heart for empowering almost teenage or teenage girls. I'd love to be a program manager of Girls on the Run. I'd also be a guidance counselor if I could.
Irrational fear: Being attacked in a public restroom. I get scared out of my mind.
What were you like in high school: I was overweight but on the swim team. I hung out with the swimmers. I wouldn't say I was popoular but I talked to everyone. I had a terrible self esteem.
What are you like now: I still struggle with weight and body issues but I also am confident in who I am as a person. I think I have great communication skills.
Favorite holiday: Christmas times 1 million
Favorite quotation: I have two. One is motivational. One I just love because I'm from Pittsburgh.
    1)
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the oneswe've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.- Obama
    2) "If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler." Jack Lambert
That quote gives me chills every time I read it.

*Favorite ice cream: Butter Pecan *Trend you think is stupid: Coasties. See urban dictionary first- http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=coastie and then watch youtube video-   http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=Jw9ODIZj40w *Favorite movie (only pick one!): Stepmom *Current job: nanny *Dream job: Pregnancy and childbirth educator (specifically would like to work with teen/young/disadvantaged moms) *Irrational fear: My FI will realize I'm not as great as he thinks I am, and he will leave me. *What were you like in high school: um, a less mature version of me now? I wasn't a huge dork, but I wasn't part of the "in crowd" either. Average, I guess.  *What are you like now: I really think I'm pretty much the same person, just more mature and with more life experience. Maybe a little more skeptical of the world. I question the way of things. Hence how I went from Protestant Christian to atheist. *Favorite holiday: Halloween!! Second place is Thanksgiving *Favorite quotation: I have two, one is "While I respect the Judeo-Christian ethic, as well as the eastern philosophies and of course the teachings of Mohammed, I find that organized religion has corrupted those beliefs to justify countless atrocities throughout history. Were I to attend church, I'd be a hypocrite." ~Steven Hyde (That 70s Show)  and "Service is the rent we pay to be living. It is the very purpose of life and not something you do in your spare time." ~Mary Wright Edelman

So, UGGs are basically over-priced slippers.  I went to Australia several years ago and UGGs are just slippers, when a girl I was traveling with wanted "UGGs" our host family took her to the slipper department in Target and showed her all the "Uggs."  They don't walk around town in UGGs, so they were pretty appalled when she wore her slippers everywhere. Strange fact, they don't really sell the brand "Uggs" in Australia.  They do, but they don't sell well at all.

Favorite ice cream: This time of year...PUMPKIN.  Any other time of year...anything cherry or black raspberry.

Trend you think is stupid: I don't know that they are the trend anymore but I really didn't like those sunglasses that Kanye West had where there were just slits within the plastic that you could see out of.  I'm so out of the loop I don't even know what they are called.  I just didn't see the point.

Favorite movie (only pick one!): Currently it is Step Brothers. FI and I quote it quite a bit.  In fact, FI wants my nephew to call him Uncle Dragon because of it. So sad.

Current job: Radiologic Technologist at an Orthopaedic office. (X-ray Tech)

    Dream job: Professional photographer.

Irrational fear: Getting a paper cut on my eye.  I freak out just thinking about it.

What were you like in high school:  A little crazier and more outgoing than I am now.  I was obnoxious.

What are you like now:  I keep to myself a little more, I have a dry sense of humor.  I'm not a social butterfly like I used to be.

Favorite holiday: Thanksgiving.  Such good food, no worry of presents or anything.  Just a simple dinner.

Favorite quotation: "Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things" -George Carlin

Favorite holiday: While I love love love Halloween, Christmas will always have a special place in my heart.

Favorite quotation: "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear, nor did I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life . . . Favorite ice cream: This is super hard for me. But ATM its country time vanilla, or cookies and cream, normally it's anything with chocolate, cookie dough, brownies - you get the picture.
Trend you think is stupid: Um.. idk. It really bothers me with the brightly colored jeans - like neon purple and pink. I mean light toned pants are fine but neon colors?

Dream job: Anything with horses, I'd love to train them or give lessons, or just get paid to ride.

What were you like in high school: Depends at what part. I was dealing with an eating disorder, I was really tiny, but had all the confidence in the world, I was loud and sometimes out of control. I didn't give a damn. I partied - a lot.
What are you like now: Much more reserved. Not as confident, I much rather stay home than go party. I'm a lot more responsible, I've got a good handle on life.
    Favorite holiday: Thanksgiving or Christmas!

Trend you think is stupid: So very very many, but I'll go with jeggings. Who thought that was necessary?

Dream job: I'd love to work in development for a company like LUSH or Butter London. I'm actually really considering going back to school to learn how to do nails. I'm totally jealous of my friend that just started her own soap/bath product company, I wish I could afford the outlay on that.

What were you like in high school: Kat from "10 Things I Hate About You."

Favorite holiday: I love the entire Thanksgiving through Christmas season. The holidays themselves, but also the work and cocktail parties, the big shopping days with lots of hot chocolate, the going to look at lights, all of that. I'm already making plans for it.
Favorite quotation: "What came first, the music or the misery?... People worry about kids playing with guns, and teenagers watching violent videos; we are scared some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Favorite ice cream:  Black Raspberry

Trend you think is stupid:  Planking.  WTF is it, and why do people do it?  And what's more, why the heck should I care?

Favorite movie (only pick one!): Dirty Dancing

Current job:  Working for a great company with great senior partners all around the world in a crap office with a crap boss.

Dream job:  Being a romance novelist

Irrational fear:  More and more, I've become a bit claustrophobic without realizing it.  At first I thought it was motion sickness as it always happens in moving vehicles, but then come to realize that it's only when I feel I can't escape.  Oy vey...

What were you like in high school:  I kinda relate to Rachel Berry from Glee, except I wasn't as much of a selfish delusional beyotch.  I was in charge of everything, the President of every club, the Captain of several sports teams, and the star in literally every school play.  I got along with nearly everyone, but I wasn't particularly popular.  When I went to a big party after prom with my whole class, they were shocked to see me drink beer and party a bit.  I was kind of seen as a goody-two-shoes.

What are you like now:  A lot less certain that I will succeed at anything I try.  My self confidence has taken a definite hit in the last few years with my inability to figure out a career path that will fulfill me (or even remotely interest me), and it has made me a lot less confrontational but also a lot less ambitious.  I'm in a place where I have no idea what I want to do with my life or what the next steps should be, and that kind of sucks.  And as I hate Miami, and my job, I've become a bit of a whiner recently.

Favorite holiday:  Thanksgiving.  Food, family, and football.  Also, no need to buy gifts.

Favorite quotation:  Currently, it's Albert Einstein: "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Favorite movie (only pick one!): Ladder 49
Current job: Cashier at target and a security guard. Oh and match maker
    Dream job: CPA
Irrational fear: Having my toes cut off
What were you like in high school: I was the cheer leader. I was a horrible student. I thought I knew where my life was going.
What are you like now: I'm a lot more quiet. I have a better plan than I did then at least more realistic.
    Favorite holiday: holloween
Favorite quotation: The best thing in life to hold onto is each other ~

As a responsible dog breeder who only wanted to better the breed, I HATE designer dogs with a passion. They are no more than a mutt. I bred beagles and I hate hate hate Puggles. They are probably the most pathetic dogs on earth.... the poor things have the energy of a beagle (non-stop) and the respiratory system of a pug (terrible) The poor things run run run and then can't breathe, it makes me very sad.

There is one designer dog that I think it cute. FI wants one but I'd rather just have a full bread yorkie. He wants a yorkie poo

Yeah, I just think the breed mixing thing has gotten a little out of control. They did try to call our puppy a "Corgi-Jack." Just because you know what both parents are doesn't make him some special breed, it just makes him a mutt that you know the mix of instead of blindly guessing. A really cute smart mutt, but a mutt nonetheless.I will say that I'm in love the with the black golden-doodles, though. They're just such pretty dogs, but there's no way I'd pay over $2000 for one.

H and I wanted a Yorkie,  but I did some research and they can have a lot of health problems.  Yorkies are prone to slipped knee caps, collapsed trachea, and they can choke REALLY easily.  Yorkies are generally really nervous and I myself get really nervous and anxious, so I think that having a dog that's naturally nervous would just be too much. On the other hand though, I'm just a cat person.  I always wanted to be a dog person, and I like dogs, but I am head over heels for my cat.  So much so that when H and I argue about my cat being in the apartment (he's allergic) I tell him that I'm allergic to the sun, so my allergy wins and he can take a zyrtec like I do and deal.

Favorite ice cream: Ben and Jerry's "coffee coffee buzz buzz buzz"... so sad that they don't sell it anymore :(
Trend you think is stupid: Uggs with shorts... well, Uggs in general but wearing them with shorts is even dumber.
Favorite movie (only pick one!): oh man, it's too hard to pick only one... How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is way up there on the list though.
Current job: medical student, cause there's nothing better than paying $20K a year to work like a dog
Dream job: running a major trauma ER
Irrational fear: right now? being attacked by somebody in the inpatient psych ward. I know it's most likely not going to happen, but they keep telling us stories and it freaks me out.
What were you like in high school: overweight band geek... I wasn't one of the popular girls, but I got along with everyone in my tiny little high school. I was also involved in almost every club or activity the school had (except student gov't - see above about not being one of the "popular kids")
What are you like now: still overweight, still a geek, but I feel less outgoing these days... I'd rather sit at home and do nothing or spend time with my family than go out partying in my free time.
Favorite holiday: CHRISTMAS!!!! It's chock-full of food and family traditions at my house, and it just makes me happy
Favorite quotation: 1) It is our choices that show us what we truly are, far more than our abilities - Dumbledore to Harry Potter (yep, I'm a nerd Smile)
    2) Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind - Dr. Seuss

I don't understand what makes people want to mix some breeds, but there are some that I think are just adorable. FMIL has a cockapoo (or something like that), and that dog is cute even though she's a spoiled rotten biotch. Of course, I'm also slightly biased about designer dogs because my sister has a Morkie (half Maltese, half Yorkie) which works out perfectly with her pet allergies, and he's the sweetest, cutest thing on the planet. I want one soooooo bad, and I already told FI that we're getting one when we get married.

Because everybody needs some puppy love, my fav pics of Max (sister's dog):
