    You aren't being cheap. Being cheap (and tacky) would be not serving your guests anything or making demands on them. You're celebrating the way you want to celebrate. If she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to be there.

    It's no one else's business how you spend your money! Let her get married for 50k and spend the first 10 years of her marriage in debt!

    Aww Goldie I'm sorry! I hate when people butt in on how we spend our money because I find that incredibly rude. It sounds like what you are doing is going to be just perfect for you two!
